They usually do but you know what. This time when I picked it up it didn't feel as cold like it usually does. Got me wondering...
I'm going to take it somewhere else to get filled next time. When I purged it this time it let out a lot more air before the nitrous showed
Than usual. Think maybe it was full of air?

Man believe me your post was running through my head that WHOLE night! Last time I think it
Was a mix of tcs and this because the burnout problems were gone this time out. You were right
About the nitrous though. This friday is a wchra event so I need to see if I can run it. I work that night
So I need to check the times tonight and see if they have a tnt going on as well like last time.

Put your bottles in an ice chest full of ice BEFORE you bring it to them. That way you know it's cold! Weigh it after you get it back, it should be around 25-26 lbs.

Bring a small hand torch to the track (keep it in the pits, NOT in the stagging lanes). Use it to heat the bottle up before each pass. Move the torch over the bottle evenly and slowly don't hold it in one spot.

The zex kit can have issues with the solenoid opening above 1,000 so try to get close to 1000 before you pull into the lanes then purge to 950 at the line (if you have a gauge in the car).

The Zex kit uses a AN4 line so it's only going to hit so hard. Gonna need to use every trick in the book to get 11.1.

never thought about that! definitely going to start doing that before i take it to them from now on. im not running the zex kit. i use the dynotune nitrous kit and haven't had any problems with it yet. i'll need to invest in a small torch soon and use it at the track as well. :beerchug2:

Well, it was on a C6 vette (non Z06) running 10.7x.. I don't think the looks mattered much, lol. And the bottle was wrapped in a blanket. funny looking, but it sure as hell worked. haha.

dont use a blow dryer dude...just buy a new bottle warmer...my NOS bottle warmer warms my bottle up quick aslong as i dont use the thermostat. since the zex has it installed it prolly donst let it gets as hot idk i could be wrong though.

Did they chill the bottle before filling it for you?
Exactly what I was thinking. I freeze mine the night before, and take it down to the shop in a ice chest with ice. Weigh the bottle before should be like 14lbs empty and like 26 or 27 full.

No I can heat mine up real quick , I can get it from 800 to 1150 in no time. I have a nitrous express bottle heater with pressure transducer.
