You'll run out of turbos at about 800-850 flywheel hp. Mine are 53mm and are good to about 900 flywheel hp. Deduct whatever amount you believe for driveline loss. My automatic soaks up 24%. We put down 477 hp and 541 tq on 8 psi and 10 degrees timing. The car ran 128 mph at 3820 lbs. Doing the math that equates to 626 flywheel hp. Remove the 24% and you're back at 475-477 hp at the tire.

Bottom line though: twins are bad sumbitches!

That's the main advantage of turbos. People don't seem to understand how I can run 10's on only 8 psi. The problem is they are staring at boost and horsepower numbers. Torque is the key.

Yah 8lbs and doing 10s is insane..Very doable though! I plan to buy a Hellion turbo kit within the year and push around 8-9lbs. It will be the base 61mm with the ball bearing upgrade. Will that be too much for a stock motor?

Alrighty, sorry for the thread jack.

How come you can run 8psi and I can only run 10-11? Are you externally wastegated sd?

Mine are externally wastegated. When I bottom the adjustment rod it gives 8 psi total. Probably because I have larger turbos. Bottoming the adjustment on yours yields 9-10 psi where mine is 8 psi.
