Let's get back to the topic...TURBOS!!!

I've got a few pics I need to post up with some interim stuff I've been working on in preparation for them, mostly a result of de-modding from my Kenne Bell setup.

Mike and Leo, for these down pipes with the fake cats on them they take the place where the oem midpipe hanger would normaly be so you may need to remove the hanger mounts on the trans crossmember for proper fitment.

Jeremy, because I have the 6060..I've never had hangers there...so I think I'll be fine. :)

Atleast the 6060 that I bought didn't have hangers. I don't know if they normally do. Thanks for the heads up either way though.

Yeah my 6060 corssmeber didnt have hangers either but they have provisions for it. I added two hangers for my downpipes. The vband connections at the turbos and band clamps at the overaxle pipes are sufficient to hold the pipes though.

Shouldn't be an issue just leave the band clamps and vbands loose and have some one push the pipes up and hold them as you tighten it all down. You will want to tighten the feed pipes from header to turbos as this time as well.

Ugh. Those hangers are a pain to remove...I've been using them and planned to keep using them. I suppose the extended crimp-lip interferes with the hanger.
As long as they'll fit and tuck underneath, I'll go without the mid-hanger :)

All you need is a big flat blade screw driver and pry up on the top side. It isnt bad. I would wait to see if it hits or not.

I'll see when we get them. Yeah, I've removed them before, with the bent-over tabs, using a flat screwdriver; a typical thing to do when doing a v6 to v8 swap and you flip over the crossmember for a v8 transmission.
