Progress is still limited to pre-turbo installation work. I'm mostly done with my car, but we have a lot of other work to do on Leo's car still, and that will get done in the next few days or week or so (different cams, radiator, and some other stuff).
The remaining parts are on the way or will be soon. I'm hoping next weekend can be the install party!

Wooaahhh...is that a challenge?

Yep, tomorrow I'm getting deep into the car. Pulling the cams out, pulling cooling fan and radiator (im putting a new radiator in) pulling the front cover...Ill pull the limiters out and install the lockouts...and Stroker is going to help us degree the cams tue or wed next week.

Suggestion, keep the radiator and fan out until you time the cams so you have more space to do it. (probably it was already the plan)

Wait to put the new ones in till I come over or we will just have to remove them again. I have the adjustable lash adjusters.

What is the lift on your cams? Can you post the cam card?

Also, do y'all usually use the cam tool to remove and install the followers like the book says or suck them down with the cam bolts, then back them out one at a time and torque like I do? I don't want to scare you. LOL

Yea, Mike was asking me if we were installing the cams tomorrow, and I told him no. We're waiting for you. I knew it would have been wasted effort.

I'll actually have the cam card later today or tomorrow...So I can post that when I open it.

I do NOT have the cam tool. I'm ok with doing it the way you do it...I think that's how I've always done it.

Is it an adjustable lash adjuster, or a solid one? Well, I guess either way, you can adjust it to where it needs to be.

Mine are adjustable. You just adjust to zero lash and you have a solid adjuster.

Bobby, we know, yes it'd be great if you and Jeremy were closer.

Billy, I usually do the tighten-all-the-bolts-down-gradually approach; same with removing them (loosen them up gradually). Some post-work Shiner consumption sounds great!
