Hi guys,

I've just installed a HO Procharger Kit on a 2008 V6 with 5-speed manual.

After the reflash with the SCT tune that came in the kit, the car won't rev past 4k rpm, nor in driving and nor on neutral. It's a rev limiter for sure...3990 rpm in all gears.
The rev limits in the sct are set to 4k rpm neutral and 6150 rpm drive. If I try to change these limits, there is no effect...the car won;t rev past 4k rpm no matter what values I set in the tune.

Also, after the reflash, the car starts without having to press the clutch pedal like it did with the stoc tune.

I called procharger, they said to call SCT. I called SCT, they told me to call procharger....

Any ideeas ?

i dont think your car should be able to start with out the clutch in at all. and if your nuetral switch on you clutch pedal is stuck reading that its depressed that would explain the 4k rev limit. if the car thinks the clutch is down all the time. that would be where i would start, unless the newer models have a no clutch start that i dont know about.

maybe they put on a "safety tune" like on the GT500s where it wont let you get into boost for a little while until you learn to drive with it.

i have had this same kind of problem. both neutral and drive rev limiter need to be the same. on my car it would only rev to what ever the lowest rev limiter was set at

I cannot set the neutral limit more then 5k rpm, but even if I do change it the car still rev just up to 4k.

call the people who did your tune.....demand answers and be persistent ....keep calling and callling ...eventually they will solve your problem, though it shouldn't have to be that way anywhere.
