Just got back from the powdercoating shop, and they're out dry of the ceramic coating. Looks like I'm going to have to wait to get all the hotside powdercoated and will be putting this kit on exactly the way Chad intended it to be.

I can't tell you what I paid because of my sponsorship, but I will tell you that you can have it as a tuner kit for less than $2k shipped to your door and Bobby can do the ceramic coating for you before it gets shipped out as he is right next to Chad

How much is the pre-done ceramic coating?

Bobby, please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe he does all the hotside and the turbo hotside for ~$200-$250, pretty damn good pricing if you ask me. Honestly, where the hell can you get a complete, ceramic coated turbo kit for just over $2k?

Theres around 5 guys on this forum that have the 3v on3 kit now that i know of with no real issues. The instructions call for some copper sealant so im starting there. And if something doesnt line up like it should i will add a gasket. It is 16 gauge stainless steel hotside and 18 gauge cold.

BTW, love the new sig pic, antonio, sick!

mr. gasket in a spray can is your friend. i used that on all of the flanges on my civic.

i coat all the hot side in the kit even the down pipe. i also coat the exhaust housing of the turbo. if you want i will even coat the exhaust mani inside and out along with all the hot side inside and out. you would be surprised on how much sooner the turbo will spool up. it will be probably be about 400-500rpms faster and this is with the piping coated and wrapped in fiberglass and a turbo blanket added to the mix. talk to chad when you go to order the kit and he can give you the pricing on that because i sell to him. i can also coat the part of the waste gate that is cast (the part at the bottom). i cant give any pricing on here because i am not a sponsor. if you need something done contact aj or tom at amped speedlab they can help you with that.
