So I hit a couple of snags and it seems like the install will be completed tomorrow. One thing to be noted is that the oil filter relocation will require the use of a different oil filter, a longer one with a bigger slot because the fitting that goes on the relo kit and then has the oil filter snapping on top of it does not fit
I had the same issue but i did my own oil filter relcoation off summit. U need to find out what size thread the filter relocation adaptor has and btw they make different thread adaptors to run the style filter you want(summit sells them). Mine came with a 3/4"-16 and i use a motorcraft f1a1 (3$ at walmart) and its twice as big as the stock filter.
And what are some of the other snags, im interested to hear them as I have had a few as well and listed them in my build thread.
The oil pan deal... When you tap the oil pan, the correct way to do it would be to take the own out and then tap into it and remove all the metal shavings. Remember, all it takes is a tiny little piece of a shaving to wreck something. So something we didn't expect to have to do was remove the pan to do that, which took a bit of time, not to mention the fact that there is no drill bit large enough to tap a hole that big.
