Car is up and running Pete! We had a few issues last night including the torque converter flashing (tci POS) so all I did was run the 3lb spring which yielded 6.8psi (I know, wtf?) and the car made 386/388. I went to a local dyno this morning for a few more pulls and the car made the same power, but then I got two runs without the converter flashing and the car made 408/413 on that same 6.8psi. This kit def makes power, and I'll be putting 9-10psi within a couple of weeks so I'm looking for 450+rwhp

Awesome congrats I guess Ill see you at the meet on Saturday , I hope the weather works out for us cant drive out there on my Bogarts rear tires suck in the rain.
Whats wrong with the converter wont it lock up in 4th to make a pull?
You need to make the pulls in 4th and lock the converter in the tune just for the dyno session. After you tune the car have them unlock the converter back to the street tune .
You'll make the 450 easy at 9 psi's .

I'm glad that someone's tried this kit out and it's working well. The phrase "you get what you pay for" is way too over-used. Back in my 5.0 days, they were saying the same thing about AFR heads when they came out. Even the cheap Patriot heads are starting to get some love.

ive built my fairt share of motors. i am just wondering if this is a saturday/ sunday kind of job. and is there anything i can be aware of so im not surprised into having to make late night runs seeing as there are no walmarts in NYC lol. if you could even pm me everything im gonna need outright to get this done over a weekend, it would be greatly appreciated. and i mean everything. i have access to a few specialty tools if need be, but they are limited.

make it a Friday after work, then allow all day saturday and all day sunday type deal... that should be enough time to install it and have room for hiccups.

I am definitley saving up for this kit, it looks like a lot of peanut butter sandwhiches for lunch from now on instead of chic filet sandwhiches lol

I talked to AJ, he should be contacting you soon. Amped sells the kit for a little bit less than in that eBay auction
