Has any one on here ran a Vortech V3 with the FRPP intake manifold? I discovered a few days ago when i did my install that it has some serious clearance issues with the Vortech kit, the FRPP intake places the throttle body lower than stock and has less clearance than stock above the thermostat housing. the Vortech kits have a spacer that rotates the thermostat housing and a steel water passage to clear the supercharger, pulleys, and throttle body. With the FRPP intake you cant use the spacer the thermostat housing will sit to high and also the steel water passage is now to large to clear the throttle body, i was able to make it work with a hack saw and a hammer literally as a temp fix untill i can get a new water passage and thermostat housing drafted up and machined. ill get some pics up when it stops raining so you can see what im talking about but hadn't seen anyone post about this issue and was wondering if any body has had this problem before/ if so how you resolved it. also a heads up for Vortech guys considering this intake its not going to be as simple as bolting it on.
