I started a major install project this morning to install my Ford Racing billet oil pump. It had to be on the hottest day of this year too. Pulled the bumper cover and everything on the front end which took a while. After pulling the timing cover and looking at the inside pickup bolt, I said WTF did I get my self into... But going back together wasn't that bad, except the heat..90. Reinstalled the timing cover and cam covers. The ATI dampener it just sitting in place to keep anything from getting it there for tonight. The new timing cover is setup for a Whipple 2.3 supercharger. That's tomorrows fun. Hopefully it won't be as hot. I also have a new alum. radiator and a few other little items going in. Sorry no pics, between the heat and the quarts of water I was drinking and going back into the air-condition to cool off, I just wanted to get the engine sealed up...

Been driving the mustang all week and no overheating. It was 92 today and the hottest it got while sitting in traffic with the A/C running was 212. Also did a run to 135 MPH and it stayed at 198 degrees on the highway. So I'm thinking that my overheating issue is fixed.

Changing alternator, pain in the butt because of super charger, having to remove charge cooler, pully, carb and a few other stuff. putting the 2010 150 amp alternator, hopefully this will fix my engine light code 340 cam pos.

Threw the car up on jack stands up front to find the remaining clunks... Took off the front wheels and found the front clunk culprit! drivers side mount for the sway bar... got a full turn on the bottom and a turn and a half on top. put it all back together and went for a test drive... not a squeak or clunk to be heard. :happythumbs:
