RIP - You will be missed
Changed the oil last night. I picked up this sweet LED work light at Home Depot that let's me work after dark!

I think you've got more unused garage space to the passenger side of your car than my entire garage would have if I took everything out of it that wasn't a workbench or a cabinet or tool box.

My car got rear pads and rotors a couple of days ago and is about to get the heat-checked front rotors swapped out today. Two days on the track coming up this weekend . . .

It's a 2-car garage, and it usually contains the Mustang and my wife's Focus. I pull her car out when I want to work on the 'Stang so I can put it in the middle and have plenty of room.

Recut a new piece of trunk carpet and replace my worn out one. The spare tire j-bolt had wore a hole in it. I trimmed it down as well so this won't happen again.

I'm right behind you bro! I just got my exhaust (manifold back) in yesterday and now I get to play the same game (98% of my tools are back at my parent's place in PA). Luckily we have a nice roomy garage for me to work in here at the house in Oregon. Waking up early tomorrow to run into town to Autozone and pick up some stuff then back to the house to start ripping into her! :cheersman:

Installed a BMR sway bar delete, BMR rear sway bar relocation kit and put on some new shoes.

Loving the retro drag look. Pictures to come soon...

Ordered a set of black coil covers from the '15-'16 GT350, will fit all '11-'16 5.0's and the 5.2's, and they're less than $13 each right now from most online resellers like Tasca or Autonation (formerly Tousley Ford).

So for less than $34 shipped I have a spare set of coil covers, these ones black, just in case I decide to sell my Boss302 covers or my newly hydro-dipped ones, or both.
Or if I decide to hydro-dip another set, I'll have these ones to do, since it doesn't matter what color they are before they get dipped.

I ran across this over at IMBOC. He's got all kinds of colors. The site don't look like much, but he ships really fast. I got 30ft an was left with about 8ft or so. I couldn't get the outside welt to push all the way in so I trimmed it down. The inside (around the arm rest) I didn't have to trim. Ymmv.

I did the piping on my '07 and looked good. I'm thinking of doing it on the '11.

I did silver tinsel years ago, its actually clear rubber with weave shiny wire/tinsel inside. It's kind of funny that anyone that rides in the car comments how it's a nice touch, and they're even more amazed that I did it. Then I have to own up to just how easy it was hahahaha

Installed my newly hydro-dipped coil covers and intake tube, and was happy to find that the car starts and idles just fine with the new L&M twin-66mm throttle body, and revs as expected when giving it gas.
Car's still on jack stands so didn't drive it yet, hope to do that tomorrow or Monday
Still need to do a bunch more cleaning under the hood, but took a few pics anyway :)

NO factory stock bottom , no opg's, good fuel though- (blend 93 + 110)- may go e-85 to keep the same power level and drop rpm down to 69-7000 and this will also lower boost slightly.
Good luck bro , mine had only 50 thousand on the stock bottum
and mine granaded @ only 450 whp .
+1 on Tick Tick Tick .

@ Gabe
that looks great bro !

Thanks dude!

Had another bit of fun earlier in the day ...

Got the girlfriend's car out for its maiden voyage after the blower re-install, and we're not even 1/4 mile away from home when the thing starts throwing up "FAILSAFE ENGINE MODE"
Car's running fine, as far as we could both tell (the GF was driving), I pop the hood and check things out, all connectors are clicked on, no vacuum hoses are loose.
We drive it to lunch, on the way back we get a Ck Eng light, code P012B for the supercharger inlet sensor, sensor's plugged in, I check the MAF, it was clean and looked good, throttle body looked clean and worked as expected, felt stupid for not finding the issue.
Drove it home, went to the local car wash, Googled some more and found a post online about the supercharger inlet pressure sensor, how it easily cracks.
So I give it a closer look, ended up finding the problem:

We were close to an O'Reilly's Auto Parts, so we went in, grabbed some silicone tape and some short vacuum lines, cut the broken little tubes apart, stuck the vacuum hose on there and taped it nice and tight, problem fixed! :)

Removed the factory style reproduction 'tethered' gas cap from my 69 and installed an original flip open style off a 67.[emoji41]

Kind of torn on whether to re-paint the stripes on the tri-bar pony or leave the worn look.

Those plastic lines Ford uses after a while get brittle and brake all the time.

Installed a 100mm idler. Had to do some grinding on the upper bracket for it to fit.

I am on a 72mm pulley right now. Still using the same belt that came with the VMP kit. I have a gates blue racing belt but haven't put it on the car yet.

I tried a mosaleen but unfortunately was unable to get it to work. So decided on plan B which was to just upgrade the idler.
