I installed my Steeda UDP kit today. Took advantage of their St.Patty's day sale and some other discount. Got the thing shipped for $219 from Steeda. I went to Autozone and rented the Chrysler HB puller, worth doing. I had zero issues and didn't have to break out the impact for bolt removal. I did pull the fans and had so much room it couldn't have been easier. Used a strap wrench to hold the water pump pulley to torque the bolts. About as easy of a job as there is. Now I will see if that was another $200 I've thrown away, at least that rusted old balancer is gone.

I did silver tinsel years ago, its actually clear rubber with weave shiny wire/tinsel inside. It's kind of funny that anyone that rides in the car comments how it's a nice touch, and they're even more amazed that I did it. Then I have to own up to just how easy it was hahahaha

I was back an forth between black or silver to go with the other silver accents. I was worried it'd be too bright (like chrome) instead of satin so played it safe with the black.

Installed some SHR lower grille inserts. Thanks Cam.

Got a 10-14 GT500 steering wheel on the way. Gonna wire it up this weekend. Should be a huge improvement.

Hood, roof, and trunk lid detailed tonight.
Wolfgang Uber compound, Wolfgang finishing glaze, then Adams Brilliant Glaze.
Pictures don't do it justice, especially these phone pictures in the garage, but still show a lot of clear reflection ... and the paint is smoooooth ... :)

RIP - You will be missed
Pulled 3 new studs into the left front and two into the right front. Long story short, the left front tire & wheel decided to try a different cornering line from the rest of the car at a track day (Sunday).

Zero visible sheetmetal damage until the tow back to paddock . . . then only this. Have to crawl underneath later.

Several upgrades are going to be the fallout from this, starting with FRPP hubs and their ARP studs.

Norm, clean threads and flanges, tapered wells in the wheels clean, always use a torque wrench?

Very interesting. Do you change wheels very often?

I had to reinstall the stock rear coil springs. I found out if you have 4 people in the car the tires will rub a little. Easiest solution was to put the stockers back on. I like the raked look with the big rear tires out back!

Did this during lunch today. Cruise control and lights work. I'll get the radio side working at a later date. Not really worried about it. It feels immensely better than my leather 05-09 one.

^^ easiest is to not have 4 people..jus sayin.....

I was thinkin the same thing Greg. HA!

I know guys, normally it's only me or my wife and myself. I do however find myself giving another couple a ride, or taking the car places with greater than 2 people. I'm not so sure that if I hit a decent bump that it might have rubbed some. I actually like the way that it looks, but I'm sure lowering springs will go back on some day.
