As 86GT said, it's spent its entire life in Louisiana. See my response to his thread, below. With the before pic, there's no doubt she sees salt, but man silver paint makes a huge difference
Yup, Baton Rouge specifically. The car was originally delivered and sold in Baton Rouge (Robinson Brothers Ford, built and delivered to dealer inventory on 4/18/2008) and stayed local, its entire life. I am the third owner and actually purchased used from...you guessed it...Robinson Brothers Ford. The first owner was (apparently) a young man who documented all the oil changes and maintenance in the owners' manual as "XXXXX and Dad". The documentation is meticulous. Just like I would have done it. One of the things that sold me on this particular car. The fact that it's a 5-spd and the rare-ish Vapor Silver paint are the others. The "Jack Roush" dual color seat trim(s) was/were an added bonus. He's in Louisiana so it's a High Humidity state

Replaced the cam phasors because I had a rough idle occasionally with a very intermittent phasor-related DTC code, and because I drive the fk outta this thing (yet somehow my factory clutch managed to survive 150k miles.)
My driver side phasor was the one giving me trouble, but swapped them both out. Then did a compression check just for shits and giggles and found my #1 cyl is at 160 psi. haha, whoops. All others are at 210-220 but I think #1 is just a dirty exhaust valve. The cylinder wall cross hatching looks impeccable. Ready for another 150k. Good yard.
..Also peep that gold color hahaha that's what I get for running 5w20 like Ford told me to do

Full synthetic, sometimes high mileage, sometimes not, but always Mobil 1Conventional or synthetic?
Ordered a full-leather custom upholstery from a local shop. Damn it was spendy!

The upper connector is similar to the Mercedes type. I used my old hoses as a plug for future repairs. I cut the hose in half and pressed hot glue inside. Then I took a second look at the shape of the ends on the original lines... Yeah they're not the same. Note that one is just a circle with the sides clipped off, and the other is like a cat eye.

Bolt onThose bolt-on or require welding?
