You could also bring it inside to your PC, plug it into your desktop, uncheck that box, and bring it back out to the car. You need an AC power adapter to do it... I think they have the power specs (voltage and amps) on their web site, where they sell the power adapters.

That would work, I have dozens of old power supplies ac/dc converters.

Im gonna try to find the power specs. And see if I have something that will work. I imagaine its just 12v dc powering it off the red wire.

I emailed the WOTbox guys. It's after 10pm and they're awesome about replying to emails. Turns out the AC power adapter plugs into the 6-pin port, so you pretty much have to buy the one from their web site. That's pretty lame.

Oh well, good luck, Lightblade.

Buy a used netbook. Perfect for stuff like this, plus datalogging at the track/street.

Edit: I just noticed the AC adapter is $9.99. I can probably tell you in a day or two how many volts on which pin, but for 10 bucks I don't think it wouldn't be worth it going to Raioshack, buying the plug, and soldering it together.

+1 on the netbook. I've got the extended battery Asus eee-pc netbook and it's great for using with the car. I datalog on it, make adjustments to the wotbox and connect it to the X3 for updating the tunes.

Well the backside of the power supply says 12V 500ma. The digital volt and ohm meter says it's almost at 18 volts though.

you might be able to get away with 2500 rpm...just really depends on what size wheel we are talking. the smaller the wheel the more luck you may have.if you have street tires,id just turn them over a few times to knock the dirt off.....i wouldnt even do a burn out. the compound on street tires is way to hard to do any good heating them up.

The best i've ever done on street tires is slip the clutch from 5k, I felt like I was murdering it I won't do that again.

Can you adjsut how long the 2-step holds? It seems it only hold for a few seconds then stops for me. Its set at 4000rpms and i build 3-4lbs of boost but then it pushes past and i have to let off before i hit the rev limiter and the air just vents off it seems.

ALso, willy, what rpm do you have your 2 step set at, and how much boost do you build?

Mine doesn't do that. It should hold for as long as you keep your clutch and accelerator pedals down. I have mine set at 3500 and build 11 psi, I think... sounds like the car's about to shake apart, too.

I've never tryed to hold my 2 step more than 1 second not sure if it will cut off but with the cats I don't want to try and find out anyway, I would assume it should stay till you let go of the clutch. hmm

Interesting how fast does it build with the centri? Maybe im just letting off of wot a little and dont realize it as im scared to build too much boost since im testing it on the street with street tires.

Quick! Just a second or two. Maybe I'll make a video tomorrow.
