My first mustang. Bought it when I was almost 18 years old back in 1985. I saved everything I made at my first job for 1 1/2 years and bought it for $3400. These pictures taken in 1987 or 88, somewhere in there. I was 160lbs back then, now I am 205lbs :dead2:

Later in 1991, the 390 was blown up so I put in a 428 and was running 10.80s to 11.00s at LACR. Back in 91 that was pretty good.

My first Mustang was an 04 GT. I loved the car and had a lot of fun with it. I traded it in after numerous transmission issues but always wanted another Mustang until I bought my 06.

my first stang was a joke

got an 83 GL hatchback for $400. it had a 3.8 carbed v6 out of what I think was a cougar or a T bird, 3 speed auto, a steering colomb definitely out of a cougar, it was this ugly ass dark grey/blue color, black vynal interior, the list goes on.

most of the car did not work. the speakers for the analog radio were shot, the tach did not work until I figured out how to set it from 4cyl to 6cyl, no ac, heater core eventually broke, and it ate charging system parts.

it had an electric fan on the motor that did not work. I was still new to cars and the best solution I could come up with was to run a switch into the dashboard. I ran the wires though the steering shaft grommet in the firewall and one day the wire wore down and caught fire.

as much of a hunk of shit that car was I saw its potential even back then. I really wish I kept it. I traded it for $300 and got a firebird because I needed reliable transportation (3 700r4 transes later LOL). I wish I would of kept it and got a more regular car to drive around in. a few years of working on that car and it would of been a nice fast ride.

oh yeah, and the accelerator pump on the carb of unknown origin was broke. so if you floored it you actually went slower than half throttle.

and here's the 65 coupe my dad and i have been building, going for a pro-touring / restomod theme. Used to be a 6 banger, collector plated and everything but we decided to make it more modern. Ladder bar rear suspension, mustang 2 front end coil-over conversion, fabricated 9" rear, mini tub, built 347, c4.

My first was a 89' GT i bought from the original owner. Very clean and well maintained. I built and installed a 347 that put down 376hp/409tq. It was a fun car. Still miss it.

My first is the one I'm still with, lol. 2008 GT/CS bought new in June 2008. I was 42 at the time and intended to keep it stock. I never should of started reading the forums, lol.

This is the day I bought it and brought it home. A salesman and lot attendant followed me home with my pickup and a return vehicle for them.
