Congrats Jeremy! Glad you finally got it straight. How are the second gear pulls now?

Unfortunately I was unable to get on the car or get into boost yet, looks like my frps is bad, I was only getting 10-20psi of fuel pressure, just enough to go part throttle and cruise.

Yeah I already mentioned to Luke that I am interested in his 4.10s, too bad he already has the 3.55s to go back in, then we could just do a rear swap lol

After 21 pages of posts, what was the outcome?

Is the McLeod clutch issue fix still a mystery? Is it a simple shim up the throw-out bearing/slave or is it more involved?

You can add me to the list of McLeod RST owners with shifting issues.
Just wondering what the fix is.

No one has contributed to this thread for almost a month...

I was thinking about the same exact fix... Twin disc or single? I'm thinking of a single.

Please let us know what McLeod comes back with...

I just hate to think about tossing a $1,200 clutch. sigh

Are you going to be doing the work yourself? If you are and don't mind the work I would take it apart and try a 30 dollar shim. Worst cause you drank alot of beer and wasted a weekend. Are you on a 3650 or 6060?

If I was going to do it myself, I would have tried the shim fix already!! But I have to take it to a dealers/shop since I don't have a garage.

Whats a 3650 or 6060...?

I'm on the stock 5 spd.
