Okay well I'm at my limit with the whipple. Before the motor was heat soaked it put done 743 rwhp at 6900 rpm. So time for a new power adder to get me where I want. I wanting to get close as I can to 900 rwhp on e85. I have everything to make it there except the power adder.

I'm debating on
Procharger f-1A for $6,900 (it's the reverse cog system)

Or

Jpc hellion kit $6,100
76mm hellion
Ball bearing upgrade
Boost controller
Billet bov

Most of the cost will be taken care of when I sell the whipple with the monoblade and steeda 10rib system.

So with that I'll also need a better intake manifold and throttle body.

I'm wondering which one will be the better purchase. I also have the comp cam Stg 3 blower cams 127650 so how will the cams work with a turbo or centri??
Anybody running these setups plss let me know how ur car drives and the track times ur getting.
Also any things I should watch out with the kits??
Thx.

My build is a 9.1 cr built block with arp everything and better oil and water pump, mmr Stg 3 ported heads, comp cam 650, zex nitrous.

Gonna need that F1 to get u to 900whp. That 76mm (depending on what turbo) probably won't. Especially since u have blower cams in the heads now.

Lots of people use the hot side and or hot side and the cold side of the on3 turbo and upgrade the turbo, bov, wastegate, etc. Save some good money that way. Just my :2cents:

With your set up. Ide say run a F1D or F1C. Both are offer a lot of torque and can put down some great power. Your motor is set up for it already too so it will save you in the long run. I wouldn't bother swapping to a turbo set up.

Running the JPC manifold with the procharger will be a nice touch as well. Help the top end mostly and see about an extra 40rwhp or so (what mine picked up with a vortech s-trim)

With E85 though, been hearing a lot of people eating up main bearings lately. Ide say run the new unleaded shell 115 octane. Major shops (BBR, JPC, Dez Racing) have been getting great results with it as well.

Yea I was wondering how the cams will do with a turbo setup.
dibs on the 10 rib steeda belt drive
Have to be sold together since I no longer have the stock snout to put back on it. Lol.

Well if I went turbo then the hot side will have to be modified to fit long tubes cause I am not takin these kooks off. Lol.

I love e85 for the cooling properties. And I have a gas stations literally across the street. And I just can't beat 2.70 dollars for race fuel. :D
That jpc manifold sounds legit, but is very pricey. Maybe I'll wait for the cast.
Is there much difference in the f1-c and A??

I'd image you would have to modd all turbo kits for long tubes since I believe there are none designed for long tubes. Blower cams are different then turbo cams and any turbo will have you changing out your cams. There will always be a good debate between which is better: Turbo or blower. However, maybe with your current set up (blower cams, long tubes, etc) a blower would just make more sense for you.

The 127650's will not work well with turbos. To meet or exceed your goals with turbos, you will need a custom grind to compliment the flow of your heads.

The F1A flows 1575 CFM and has the same size inlet and outlet as the P1/D1 series. The F1C flows 1625 CFM and has a larger volute diameter. Also, the F1A will support roughly 935whp where the F1C will support an estimated 1040whp.

If it was me, I would buy the F1C.

I would go for the F1-c with a cog setup if your are wanting insane power. With that said I plan to squeeze 800-850 on boost with my F1-a with about 25 psi. and then a add in the 50 shot of N2O. Should be in the 900-950 range . I would have the F1-c if I was starting over though. You know how it is, the more you have the more you want. Just depends on how far you are wanting to go. With all that said, I will only be on the street with about 650 rwhp .

Nice to finaly hear the power your car made.

Yea definitely doing the procharger now. Really don't want to remove the cams. So now im waiting on a price quote from marc s and will go from
There. Depending on the price I will be doing the f1-c if to expensive then it will be the f1-a. Either way I'm crazy excited to see finally the numbers I've been wanting since day 1 of the build. :D

Go with the F1-C, youll be more than happy with the results. We have been running the prochargers for the the past 5 years on our race boat. Plus the maintanece is easier and there own nearly as much clutter and bullshit to deal with when it comes to plumbing it.

Go big or go home my friend haha...
