Shiiiiiiittttt. Well looks like I'm going return style.

Anyone have any cheap ways to do this?

Regulator
Lines
Fittings
Wiring harness
Filter
Y block.


Here's my fore hat which I believe works in either return less or return.

And the top with the stock line adapter removed.

Should you just need a return line with fittings, a couple relays and maybe a hobbs switch? Both of your pumps on your fore hat exit the hat on one fitting now don't they? Can't the stock feed line still be used?

These are honest questions to help with the switch so don't use them as advice matt.

Each pump has its own exit. I don't think i can retain the stock line.

Yours doesn't have the screw holes for the return pot to mount to or the tube that returns the fuel to the bottom of the pump in the tank.

Justin at fore says I have the old style hat. He has set me up with the fittings I need to have on the top of the hat. My hat is different then yours.

Yup thats the original hat, there is a screw in 8an fitting for the return.
You will want to run a 2 to 1 y block for the -6an feed from each pump to the y and then 8 an to the rails, and a full -8 an return line.

Then its just the fittings and lines themselves you need.

No it doesnt.

Not sure if Justin has the line to the bottom of the tank for him or not, if not you can just run like a 45 degree barb and piece of hose down to the bottom of the tank for the return to prevent splashing cavitation when your at less than 1/4 tank etc.

Ehh, its not the way I like to do things, covering up a problem with new parts to bypass it, but hey its up to you man.
It is indeed an easy solution though as long as it works out. lol

It would bug the crap out of me not figuring it out but thats me, I may be weird in that I enjoy trouble shooting things finding the problem and fixing it. lol

how did you mount the mechanical gauge to the rail? drill and tap? I believe we have the same aeromotive rails... also where did you get your vacuum manifold?

Gauge is mounted with an adapter -8 female to -8 male with a 1/8 npt female for the gauge. Vac block came with the Procharger kit and I just drilled and tapped more fittings.

The fore regulator comes with a port for a gauge as well btw.

Part of the evap system, I'ts the solenoid that lets gas fumes from the the tank into the manifold. iirc
