Funny you mention that!

Bogarts- 15x10 rear and 15x4 fronts. 325/65/15 Race Masters on the rears. They are a little used up but will use them for testing the tire size at the track and them order som fresh tires for them. Also need to get that nice little BMR unit next to them installed.

Are those things going to clear your brakes?
I'm really looking forward to seeing what you run on those.

No, the 14" Bears will have to come off. I have some stock size Powerslot rotors here though that used to be on the car before the Bears.

Still need get that new pass on a cool day on the 20s yet though. Probably next weekend.

Whats up with the blower?

Well tore up the first rear seal. Its a good thing I ordered two! I have been searching all week for a way to get the seal on the shaft safely. The issue is the shaft starts at 3/4" and then goes to 7/8" where the seal seats. It is square edge and makes the lip roll up and ruin the seal. I have just tonight came up with a "seal installation tool" I came up with and will finish the blower Sat. I have decided to go ahead and replace the center output shaft bearing since there is a voice in the back of my head that tells me what I felt while spinning this bearing is not correct. I feel if I don't I will regret it later. I am picking it up tomorrow. I will update the rebuild thread on the blower when I am finished Sat. This bearing has been a bear to track down as there are different configurations of the same part. Also I can say Procharger Tech support is BS! I called and asked them today about the cage used on the rear bearing and all they would tell me is they don't recommend anyone repairing the blower besides them and I should send it into them for repair. WTF, no support at all is what I call that BS! They don't want you to know how simple the repairs are they charge you $800-$2000 for.

Today I feel like it is Procharger FTL day!!!

Sounds like them.... The bad part is that they don't have a parts break down in any pic... It is just a list on paper. Poor R&D dept. that does not up supply a breakdown of all the parts in a pic to there own people. How can they help you if they don't have this info....

I played he'll finding about that brace was different..... It doesn't surprise me on what you are going through with this rebuild.... He'll I'm surprised they helped you at all since you cracked open the blower.....

On a different note.... Did you change the k member in your car? Did the f1 sit any higher than the other blower?

They didn't know I had opened it, that is the only reason they where talking to me I suppose.

Yes I do have a BMR k-member but, mine is the one before the drop unit.

I don't know if the unit is higher or if it was just because the F1a requires a MUCH bigger pulley to keep the boost down. Never checked.

Going to test fit this stuff this weekend.

I had my old powerslot rotors powdercoated and they coated the entire rotor so I had them turned and the look very nice. I really like the powder in the slots. There is still a very nice lip to aid the braking. I also ordered some new Hawk HPS pads and need to get the BMR anti swaybar welded in.

But first the car will go to the track next chance I get for the 9.9x pass on the 20s iin full street trim and weight. This has been a long time goal of mine since I started this build a long time ago and everyone thought I was nuts for wanting it in my original build thread but a goal is a goal.

I also added a second nozzle to the AEM meth kit.

Nice to see you are ready to go again. Hit the track, get your 9's in street trim & then see what she can really do.
