i am sooo glad i didnt have to remove the motor mounts or the steering shaft with my bassanis but they did seem to be more prone to leaks due to their design.

LOL two of those hours could have been avoided if you didn't wear flip flops.

Haha I've done most of my jobs in flip flops! Cam install, valve covers, numerous wheel changes, exhaust swaps, etc...lol!

What is the point? Spending all that money and aggravation and getting so little in return. The sound? Please not worth it. If you have a built block and you're looking for 500+rwhp with supercharger ok fine you need headers. If you're driving on the street with a stock block a SC should be on your car long before headers they are just a waste.

honestly with that line of thinking every bolt on is a waste. as far as not being worth the sound i think its safe to say 90% of people doing mufflers and a good amount of the people with hot rod cams did it for the sound. to each their own i guess but i think its worth it.

Congrats on getting it done. Cams and supercharger were such a simpler install. Before getting a flex head ratcheting box wrench I had several extensions and universals on a ratchet trying to reach that nut to only get one click! Lol we have all been there.

I've done two sets...last one took 3.5 hours on the ground with a me and a buddy doing the work. First one took about 5 hours.....learned alot from that.

I have done plenty of research and I know that it's been proven that you only get 10-15 hp (if you're lucky) from long tubes.

I know.

I don't care.

I know it cost me $850 for them also.

I don't care.

I love modding my car and turning wrenches and I FUCKING LOVE the sound of my car now. I don't care that I was sore for a couple days, I still am today from it. I don't care that I spent 12 hrs installing them.

So why install them?

Because mother fuckin racecar LOL

When a SC car beats you in a race you can tell him how good your car sounds.

I didn't ask.

Nor do I care :roflmao:

Not everyone lives life 1/4 mile at a time. I enjoy having a nice car that I like and that looks and sounds good.

Is this comment supposed to make me regret my decision? Make me take my long tubes off and re sell them to make money for a supercharger? Not sure where we're going with this here...

Luckily my large penis stops me from being obsessed over how fast other people are
I've been beaten tons of times, guess what goes next, I give them a thumbs up!
Didn't give a fuck yesterday, don't give a fuck today, in all honesty I probably won't give a fuck tomorrow :roflmao:

Have fun with a win or a loss, or you'll be very sad in life.
I love my car!!!

Don't lie, we all know you have a small penis and you kick yourself in the dick everytime you get beaten by a supercharged car and regret not putting the money towards a supercharger. :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

Yea really broke my heart when I sold my procharger kit lol
I wonder how insecure you have to be to go out and mod your car because someone beat you.

You should ask all the 5.0 owners who sold their 3v because it wasnt fast enough any more.

After you've a dozen sets its almost second nature. 3-4 a set, with smoke breaks.

I come from a racing background, so I tend to look at things a little differently. Performance/$$$ is usually my first consideration. I don’t do much because it sounds/looks better.

I personally think they are a PITA. I wouldn’t put some on unless I had a built shortblock and a blower and looking to make 550+.

They are a pain to put on.

They are a pain to work around once on (this is probably the biggest reason).

They don’t sound that much better.

They add a lot of heat to the engine compartment which contributes to heat soak and higher IAT’s.

They don’t make much power vs. cost/PITA factor.
