My buddy has been building that notch for two years now. Sweet little car for sure.

Interesting to think about what might happen if your buddy's wheels suddenly went missing...

They really aren't in person. lol

Maybe I'm just a sucker for the old stuff, but the new stuff looks really out of place on a classic Mustang IMO. It's hard to go wrong with a polished lip on a five-spoke wheel ...silver, gray, or black doesn't matter much. Add some fat tires, and you're winning.

Larger diameter is always an option.

Heck, I even like the Magnum 500s.

But hey, let me circle back - black wheels with a polished lip ALWAYS looks good.

Quick picture of my new shelby razor wheels I put on yesterday, now just time for a drop!

Holy 4x4 Batman! Wheels look great. Will look much better lowered. JMO when you go to 20s on a stock 05-09 body, you should think about adding a front spoiler/splitter to tie the whole look together. The CDC front spoiler is a great popular choice.

Yeah I can't wait to get it lowered! A front splitter is already on my list of things I want to get for her, just have to figure out which one I like the best. The CDC classic looks pretty good, just not a big fan of the aggressive one.

I've got to back up 46Tbird on this one. Classic is classic for a reason.

Here's mine:

Edit: I thought about this one and didn't want to come off as a closed minded purist (if that's even possible when you have a flame job, lol). I shopped late model wheels for a long time for my 66 and ultimately decided to stick with the old school aftermarket wheels. I'm not gonna lie though, larger diameter would be nice.

I think your both on track and I myself keep coming back to the old school wheels. I don't think either of you are being closed minded at all. Wheels are a very hit or miss thing as you can see the wheels on my 05 where a home run and the wheels my father put on my 67 where a swing and miss. lol. It's hard to be different in these days without sticking out to much or making your car look bad. This is why I just haven't done anything with the wheels in 8 years. I want to make sure I get it right.

Thank you all for your input I'll always take another person thoughts on things.

Does anyone have a high-quality, high-res photo of Sterling Gray that shows the flake size and reflectivity? Trying to show it to my dad. Thanks.
