Lol. I only have a short video of my wife and I quickly leaving the parking lot.
Nobody was ready for me to do my burnout, except my wife who didn't grab it on video.
She witnessed it, but no video

Lol!! Well, that is much better than nothing! haha

Lol, get that V! ...and where'd that Beamer come from? lol

Dropped the horse at the vet yesterday- rewind to July 6th after washing the car to get it ready for a street car race event at a semi local(100 miles away) track, I decided to get on it on the return way home and bam- snapped the end of the crank off. - On July 9th ordered new engine received it on the following Monday and have been gathering all the other parts needed to speed the process up- Was thinking of doing the L ands M intake cams and gen 2 heads this mid summer anyways, (before this happened) - Well NO GEN 2 heads to be HAD any where in the country(new)(the left one). so I decided to just run the stock 14 heads with the l and m intake and 15-17 exh. cams (12-13 boss) with new valve springs- Well get the call today after they got the motor out - broken cam tower(s) on the one head . broken follower, oil pan bent beyond use, broken front timing cover(which I knew) broken water pump & pulley as well- So at 4 pm today I am scrambling to find a set of heads.. finally found a set of 12-13 boss heads in stock(which is the key) at Livernois, will be picking them up in the am and driving them to the tuner/ assembler in Norwalk , OH- 3179$ versus gen 2 production for 1350$, I think I need my heart nitro and a few tums before I go to bed..
Livernois was very helpful and there boss heads are suppose to have a valve job and upgraded intake valves. and better springs- I shall see in the am.

Ouch! Shit, and good luck! Sounds costly and maybe painful.

both heads are junk broken cam towers on both sides- was told there was coolant in the engine oil as well- should get a pic after they pull the heads off- new heads look good- not as nice as the slawko ones setting on the bench next to my boss heads but definitely better than the gen1 on the broken motor. Livernois has 2 sets of these left if anyone is looking/quickly for a set of upgraded heads- lol. Gen 2 heads are no where to be found new or used-(ready to go)

You destroyed a set of Tommy Slawkos heads??? His place is about 30mins from my house and it's cleaner then a hospital. I've been in there.

And I have both of my keys....locked up......

no, they were factory gen1's(2014) the new head is a boss casting with mild upgrades- on the bench at the tuners where I sat mine down there is a set of slawko's going on another engine on the stand next to mine- they looked like art work. If I would of destroyed a set of them I would of been slightly more upset-

I put a set of Brisk Plugs in it then washed it and went for a drive.

Put some FRPP rear bumpstops on the other day. The drive-to-work road test proves that the new stops are softer than the stockers and the thunk in the rear over a bump is quieter. Goldilocks would say the stops are 'just right'.

I figured out that the bumpstop screws are best accessed over the wheel rather than from underneath. Duh. Live and learn.

Did you have a bama tune in it before?
Yes, but it was about five or six years old. I heard such bad things about the new group there I wouldn’t update it. It didn’t run bad except for a little bucking when it was cold. There was a definite improvement with Lito tune, no bucking on the cold start and it hadn’t been ran into weeks. It pulls a lot harder throughout the power band, definitely more wheel spin in second gear!

Went ahead and had the stock 3:55 ring and pinion gears reinstalled, as I didn't feel the need for 4:10 gear ratio with 5 spd manual and Saleen VI blower. Most of my driving is on the highway at cruising speeds anyhow and felt that gaining top end at 2000-2500 RPM was more important than gaining low end off the line quicker. At any rate, I'll be listing the 4:10 ring and pinion gears up for sale.

Installed an SR Performance billet clutch extension. I thought it was going to be easy but it turned out to be a real pain in the ass.
