Went to a cruise night last night.

Overheard from an '18 GT owner:
'My car has 11" and 12" (wide) wheels'
His car had the stock PP wheels.
'The line lock doesn't work until the car has 4,000 miles on it'
I stopped listening.

I have that wheel in my Cali Special. Looks good but I preferred the feel of the wheel in my Bullitt. Bigger thumb bumps.

Took all three of them ('05, '08, '14) to have the air bag recalls completed this morning. Left the house at 0630 and was back home with all three Mustangs at 0900. Made sure the dealer had all the parts on hand a week prior and made the appointments for one mechanic to do all three starting first thing in the morning.
Now, I should stop receiving email and snail-mail messages every other month about needing to get this done!

Took the car to have the front end aligned and found that the sub-frame also needed adjusting. The right side was .10* back from the left. So we loosened the sub-frame and tweaked it what we could and it's .05* now. Reset the camber to -1.46* and toe to .06*. Caster is 7.73*. The car feels much better with alignment and the new Bilsteen shocks and struts with the "P" springs that lowered the car just over an inch. The P springs have been in for years. I also installed the Vorshlag CC plates at the same time. The CC plates are index marked and has a pointer so if you autox or track day you can adjust the camber to what you need for racing and then move it back to the index mark for street. The owner of the shop has been road racing for years and sets up his own cars. We looked at and talked about what I wanted to do and why we looked at a few things that aren't part of a normal alignment.

How did you realize the subframe (k-member?) Was out of alignment?

We checked two ways, first with the Hunter alignment equipment we noticed the difference between the front and rear that the right side was closer then the left. I have non-adjustable L&M LCA and ther rear was square in the car. Then we measured from a fixed point at the rear of the car to the front ball joint and it was slightly off. Also when measuring from the fixed point to the K-member aft bolt was the same. Like he told me most people won't even notice it and with the soft suspension from the factory it's not a factor.

Washed her for a family wedding, enjoy a beautiful sunset and drove her home like a BP well! Also came out of the wedding to find she had made friends in the parking lot.

how many bus lengths did you put on him?
LOL, the V made near 700 to the tire so only a car as I started in 3rd as I was concerned I’d break the tires loose.

Wife and I took both cars to the NH Mustang Club annual picnic.
Had a great time, nice people and cars.
The location is on a private road, the owner was heard (by me, for sure :) ) saying that if you ate their food you have to leave rubber when you leave.
Who am I not to comply with such a request? :)
I promptly laid down twin stripes for about 100 feet.

Funny that of all these white/blue-stripes Shelbys, the one with the biggest engine and most horsepower was driven by a woman. My wife. :)

Lol. I only have a short video of my wife and I quickly leaving the parking lot.
Nobody was ready for me to do my burnout, except my wife who didn't grab it on video.
She witnessed it, but no video
