Endgame had a lot to live up and to and oh my did it live up to it. The previews did an amazing job of revealing pretty much nothing about the movie.

Don't let anyone spoil it for you if you are going to see it.

Our little college town theater gets movies so late so I just saw Endgame last night. Holy shit, I was not disappointed. I didn't watch any previews or trailers. Me and my son were both blown away. A little girl behind us asked her dad if he was crying at one point. "No, I'm not crying!" It was great.

Going to see Godzilla this weekend! Can't wait, critic reviews have been bad but audience scores have been awesome.

Also super excited to see that there is a third season of Slasher on netflix. If you like 80's slasher movies you should for sure check this series out.

Black Mirror season 5 is out now! Love this series. The last 1 was a weird interactive deal so I hope they've gone back to the original format.

Godzilla was awesome! Here is my review.

If you liked the 2014 Godzilla, but thought it needed more Godzilla this definitely fills that void. The visuals were amazing, the sound was tremendous and the music was awesome. They remixed and sampled a lot of the original Toho themes and it was awesome. The little kid in me was going insane when Godzilla's theme came blasting on the screen. The monster battles were epic. They really understood the source material and did all the monsters justice. The slight tweaks they made to Godzilla's design were perfect. Ghidora was massive and menacing, Rodan's design was really cool and made for some awesome visuals, and Mothra as always looked fantastic. There were so many easter eggs and nods to the original japanese films this was truly a movie made for the fans. As a huge godzilla fan, I loved just about every minute of this movie.

But the movie did have some flaws. At the same time while it is such an awesome fan service movie, it could also be what some people don't like about it. If you don't catch the easter eggs or get the nods to the originals you would be lost. There are also tons of references to the 2014 film, and Kong Skull Island. The plot was really weak, and some of the characters make really dumb decisions that are pretty much made just to get to the next action set piece. There is your typical one dimensional characters(all though I did enjoy them. You could tell some are there for comic relief, others are there to explain stuff). And some of the characters IMO were wasted. Despite the almost 2.5 hour run time, it didn't feel like a long movie but it could have been a little longer to give some characters more screen time. That said, it's a Godzilla movie. You are going to watch Godzilla kick ass and blow shit up. So as a Godzilla movie it was truly awesome. If you like Godzilla or monster movies go see it in theaters, if you are just a casual fan you could probably wait.

Oh and there is a short post credit scene

I love seeing movies in the theater. Prices don't bother me because the wife and I get a ton of gift cards to the movies every year, or I take my parents to the matinee show times that are only about $5.50 for a ticket.

Went and saw Rambo Last Blood over the weekend. I'll admit I do love me some Stallone movies, even if they are trash lol.

This is an odd movie. I felt the 4th Rambo movie ended perfectly, and that there was no need for a sequel. And that is pretty much what this movie was. It was like they had the main action sequence planned out that made sense for a Rambo movie, and built a plot that final action scene.

But I found it very entertaining even if it was over the top violent. My theater was cheering and laughing at some of the ways rambo dispatched the bad guys

Once Upon - good flick, entertaining and interesting take on "historic" story

Irishman... watched 1 hr and turned it off... slow and boring AF
Joker - well done, not that entertaining.

Ford v Ferrari - Awesome all around
