Very interesting side stripe I've never seen that before. Where'd you order that from?

Don't know. I bought the car used with 32K miles in Orlando. It seams to be OEM though!!. I'm not sure if I like it much; it is hard to clean and keep shine. I will be doing some paint correction later and see how that vinyl turns out...

My Response:

Thank you! It is pretty basic honestly.
Front: 20x8.5 running 255/35/20
Rear: 20x10 running 305/30/20

I ran those wheels because it is what I could afford at the time, the color and style I wanted, and on sale. I would like to have went with some wider wheels out back and up front, but I'd say I achieved 90% of what I wanted out of the wheel look. I'll chase the other 10% when I have saved more and need to replace these wheels due to wear. I went with the tire sizes due to height. Both wheels are pretty close in overall height this way. However, I think I would do 295/35 for the rears if I had to do it again. I thought about running a tad wider up front, especially with my 6 piston brembos now, but meh. It is a daily, not a track car. If it was, I would run a square set up and different wheels. lol

My Terry Fair Response impression:

Front: 20x8.5 running 255/35/20

Rear: 20x10 running 305/30/20

I chose these wheels due to them meeting part of our needs, but we were fresh out of options. However, they do look good.
upload_2020-4-15_11-47-30.png

We went with the tire sizes we did for the matched tire heights, and to not blow the budget on this customer's car as going 295/35 rear and possibly 275/35 front was about 40 percent more. Even though we think these wheel widths and tires SUCK in general especially for our awesome race pedigree.
upload_2020-4-15_11-48-56.png

Plus we hate this poke on the rear, and will be addressing it in the future.
upload_2020-4-15_11-49-34.png

Then you have the weight of these suckers. They are like boat anchors. (In racing. No one cares on the street.)
upload_2020-4-15_11-51-28.png

So it is a good thing we went with these brembos from the 2015-2020 PP1 s550's.

In closing. Get a real job where you make real money and buy real parts so you can be as awesome as us and pay us to do all the work for you. (Wait...)

/impression of Terry Fair.

P.S. The blasted forum added this photo again. Can't kill it.. lol Must be make fun of Terry, Karma.

P.S.S Sub impression of s197 culture. If you can't tell what tires those are by this picture, you are a moron, and should sell you car.

Done with impressions. lulz

The whole car looks amazing! Fitment is perfect and the red color is the best color for S197 for me. Thanks for photos.

Those wheels look great on your car.
That rear tire fitment though ... holy sidewall bulge, Batman!
That wheel is begging for a nice 285/35/20 tire back there ...

You did such a fantastic job in painting the front calipers Gabe! Both the front and rear brakes look absolutely stunning on your Mustang

Yea, mistakes were made.. lol I just didn't know how the rims were going to fit and how much bulge there would be till it was there. Plus, i was surprised how much more a 295/35 was over a 305.. 285 may fit best like you say. I was just tapped out on funds getting it all done to begin with. They will need another set of tires before long.

Also, I just don't like the height difference between a 285/35 or 295/35 and 255/35s, but I may just have to get over it..

You could always run a 255/40/20 front (28" tall) with a 285/35/20 rear (27.85" tall). You won't be able to notice a difference of 0.1" in sidewall height, that's less than 1/8"
