Not a chevy guy, but always liked the 68-72 chevelles. (70 is the best) I would drive one with an LS swap. Had a skylark I think it was, same chassis as the chevelle. But it was a stock 2bbl beater. lol Found a Daisy 760 in the trunk!
Godzilla is a great engine, as well as the coyote.. but they're also pretty damn expensive
This swap including the car will have cost me less than $5k but that's mostly because I'm doing everything myself.
His mom died. Are you also a homophobe? Closeted?Do you also have gay sex? Its sex to some....
Just because it can be done, doesnt mean it should be done.
Ps: I was not offended at all.

I didnt want to be too much of a Richard! That's your best come back? Must be a Boomer, LOL!
The Godzilla will come down in price as more get released onto the market and used ones appear in junkyards. That said, you obviously weren't going to sit and wait for that to happen, and you had the ingenuity to do an engine/tranny swap that most people would just shake their heads at and say "no way Jose". You also deserve a lot of credit for doing the work yourself and keeping the cost down.
Your transformation of what was originally a V6 has certainly got my attention and it would be nice if you could post a parts list with a breakdown of the cost. I'm especially interested in how you're marrying the Chevy ECU and engine harness with the Mustang body harness, and tackling other challenges such as the fuel system, cooling system modifications/upgrades, custom mounting bracket for Mustang V6 AC compressor, and what gauges you used.

What is a P51 ecu?
I like it!
In fact, I almost bought an LQ4 6.0L 4/28, however, I am now investigating a CNG 5.4L that I have a line on.
V is doing an s550 IIRC.
I want an LS7 and a T56. It might happen if I can do it before they outlaw gasoline powered cars.
I wanted to keep it a manual but t56's are so damn expensive even in broken condition. I was also looking at cd009 and ar5 transmissions too but couldn't get my hands on one from the local junkyards.
I considered the Godzilla after lifting my heads on my 3v, Over 550 lbs..... that alone was enough to rebuild the 3V.LS swaps into classic and Fox Body Mustangs were made easier by the compact nature of the pushrod OHV design and were popular because they're inexpensive, reliable, widely available, and lightweight (all aluminum). Nowadays the 7.3L Godzilla not only offers a much bigger displacement (and with it more HP/TQ potential), but it's a Ford thus avoiding this engine swap being labeled as sacrilegious, and it also fits between the strut towers of the same aforementioned Mustangs.
Credit to @smartass_garage for performing an LS swap into an S197. I don't know of anyone else who's done it so it's certainly unique.
Do you run motor plates on anything you build?...and an S197!
