RIP - You will be missed
Off throttle turn in, is that completely off the brakes before turn-in?
I ask as I tend to keep some brake pressure as I turn in (trail brake).
Have you ever noticed a little extra eagerness for your car to turn in when you get off of the brake pedal at the end of your trail braking? Same thing can occur in situations where you'd have been at 'maintenance throttle' in a turn that decreases its radius slightly, except that it's a much milder effect than getting off of the brakes. For me, that was noticeable when taking NJMP/Lightning's T2-T3 sequence as a single corner where lifting was enough to help get down to the apex of T3. Roll steer is also involved, as the rear of the car will rise (roll steer moving in toward oversteerish, aka "loosening"), and I was losing this with the stiffer rear springs and lower rear ride height.

Most other turns, it's coming off the brakes that works in stronger fashion.

Lifting off of either the brakes or the throttle momentarily leaves you with a little extra front tire load without any of it being used for longitudinal traction demands (trail braking) and when timed right seems to help an understeerish car.

Pulled a guitar out of it to take on the road this week for work. Right now it’s functioning as storage from our move, hopefully this coming weekend I can get it emptied back out and blow the dust off it!

Gathering the last few bits needed for a winter cam swap (and other things) and i could not come up with a piston stop that would work on the 12mm 3 valve heads. Saved a few bucks and wiped one out of an old spark plug.

Nothing yet but this is about to change.........
Roush 3rd Link UCA.JPG
Just got this in today after a long supply delay (ordered 7-14-21) at Roush waiting on materials to build\ship part.

While under there I may pull my FP 1-piece AL driveshaft & reinstall my OEM 2-piece driveshaft as well to see if it can arrest some of the gear resonance I'm currently experiencing...............

Some question, is it enough to tighten the big bolt under the seat only with impact wrench? I don't have a torque wrench up to 450 Nm and no where to rent some near by. Thanks!

Bought a turbo Kit. Going to mate the CX-Racing kit with a VSR Next Gen 7875. So uh, yeah blow-through paxton setup for sale. Going to send the blower back for a rebuild first so it's fresh.

Ohh I wish I had the funds to take that blower off your hands and make it work!

To answer your question, I tightened big bolt on my new Roush 3rd Link UCA\mount bracket up today w\ my 1\2" impact 1st then followed up w\ my torque wrench......impact had already tightened her up past the 129 ft\lbs torque setting so if your impact is strong enough......yep!

Hope this helps.
