b/c a 10hp difference from the factory isn't a lot. Not really enough to see.

+ it all depends on air quality, the driver at the track...etc...

But I will say, at a 2500rpm dump, these cars hook DEAD on street tires.

Dyno numbers are useless unless you are comparing same day same dyno results. Adjust all track times for DA and we can get some worthwhile info about the new cars. Dyno's are like, look i've got a paper with numbers on it! Neeeaaat!

So no wheel hop? I had to swap out the UCA and LCA's to get rid of the wheelhop, and now it hooks up on the street even spraying in 1st.

my 07 dynoed 270ish. Not suprised at all. It's the same as getting a somewhat better tune and half ass cold air...lol. But with the same mods as 05-09 your not gonna see any more gains. Besides those who do get them on this site are gonna ditch the factory cold air and tune just like the bullit owners are doing.

it was also in december in PA so i would say its going to read higher because of the cold weather.

Those are corrected numbers.

1) Mustang dynos are on the "optimistic" scale.

I think you have that backwards. Every time I've seen results of cars beign dynoed on a Dynojet and a Mustang dyno, the Mustang dyno results were lower in both horsepower and torque. I did a search of some other automotive forums and found the same results.

2) Richard at Strictly keep his dyno readout on "STD" correction factor versus SAE, which on my dynoruns equate to a 9 rwhp and 12.5 rwlbft difference....

So are you saying his results are 9 HP optimistic or 9 HP pessimistic?

What I'd like to see is the final results of both a 2008 or 2009 GT with a tune and aftermarket cold air intake vs a 2010 GT with a tune and the same aftermarket intake.

You'd get the same numbers. The '10's have a somewhat cold air from the factory and different tune. They should be dynoing a bit higher. However the motor is no different in either year.

What I'm saying is that results shown with a "STD" correction factor will be higher than results shown with an SAE CF, so if the results on the 2010 GT from the dynorun at Strictly were presented in Richard's typical STD CF, they are "optimistic" by ~9 hp and ~12 ftlbs. Any chance the dynosheet was in the article? Is the CF visible in the upper right-hand of the graph?
