HELP..

Anyone know how to replace the the long bent bolt on the procharger unit? I have a new one now but not sure of the steps to get it out. Do I remove the top nut and c-clip or tighten it up so I can get to the bolt on the bottom or do I have to remove the spring loaded arm? ahhh

Did some more work on it yesterday.. exhaust and bottom all together. Ended up sawing the procharger bolt and re-threading(that was fun). Found out I was missing a hose(found now) and also missing the upper intercooler mount bracket(still MIA). Bought another air filter from summit. Its Mandingo size! Just need to finish off the little stuff now then fluids and base tune from Eric. I'm working with a family member to fix my carbon fiber hood. Ohhh and also install my new head lights.. I'm sure they will make me faster.

Looks like you are getting very close. Glad for you ,have followed this thread and you have had a bumpy road to say the least

Return of the blown SYTII!

haha.. hell yea... just order a replacement bracket for intercooler ($20+12 shipping. errr). Just got Base tune(thanks Eric) and now fighting to get live link loaded. keeps on give me error to install or something process DPInst.exe. I looked through the system and that file is already there and set up. Seems like every step forward I get hit 2 steps back.

BTW: Some will be begging me to tell how I made more SD stomping horse power.. Here is one of the secrets...

to the left is the stock procharger air filter. Middle is the Anderson power pipe filter and to the Right is a little upgrade I got from summit. 9 inches of ventilated lean mean air sucking machine! Twin turbos... sheeeeet :thumb:

Finished the Maf extension and got the replacement bracket on. Next is load tune, oil change and...... This

Question is I'm not should how to set it up. I believe you get the hosing from some where and attach one side to the opening on both sides of the valve cover and mount it. (does this make it an in-closed system or open?) Now for the monkey wrench. I have the mondo bypass valve and there is a vacuum line on top of the intake that runs too it. what do I do with that? For a lone time that driver side was plugged(still is and the other side ran into the porcharger air filter. I'm just not sure how everything is suppose to be plugged in.

I believe marked in red is were a different hose is going into the mondo

Do I just connect both sides of the valve covers and leave the mondo connected to the intake as is?

You got it right, it goes between the fittings that the hose your circled connects. Your going to need one on the passengers side though if your using a breather can or have the passengers side go to the catch can as well.

You do need to connect both valve covers of have a way for them to both breath. If your connecting both sides to the breather can then you need to cap off the hose fittings on the intake manifold and the air intake on the passengers side. There are some answers here if your up for some reading:

Today was another fun filled day. Finished installing the inter-cooler piping (PITA). oil change and thanks to bigray327 and the rest I Jazed all over myself

Got the bumper all tied down (still warped on the top lip of the aggressive chin spoiler) Cant I use a heat gun to straighten it out??? =-/

I dont know about putting in a metal rod and drilling holes.. ahhh


Anyway, back to the story.. Car is done now..I was so excited to get ready to hear the monster scream in pain.. I mean in anger.. Started to load Erics base tune and the pos sct told me "Wrong Vee Hicle" .. I tried it over and over and got the same thing. I even had the last base tune from another shop and got the same message??? A little flashback.. I put my tune in the sct back to stock on the old car and sold that pcm(cdc3). For some reason my sct still offered to put it back to stock again(on this cars pcm(cdc3)? I thought once you put a car back to stock the sct will be open to allow you to load a new stock tune from another car?? As for this PCM all it had on all this time was a K/N filter. I plugged the sct into before and there was no tune in it.. So right now I'm lost. Steve told me Eric might be able to fix it if I give him the strategy code? So I e-mailed that to Eric. I just cant remember what the fix was for that. Please dont tell me I have to get ford to flash my pcm??? ahhhhhh

I think you are S.O.L.. There is also the PATS system that may give you fits if you are using a new pcm and the old ignition key.

I dont have a new pcm. I bought a new 2005 mustang in Feb since I could not fix the old one. The only thing I'm using that was on the other car is the sct2. I put the car back to stock and sold that pcm. I dont know if the sct didnt reset and now wont allow me to save the stock tune for this car or what. All I know is I have a 15psi supercar paper weight =-/.. Cant I reset this sct pos? I can load tunes in it... isent there something in livelink to erase the stock tune???

cool.. eric jst mailed me and told me to unlock it though live load. It says its complete. Now I just have to drive to sacramento to see if it work. hahah.. sheeet

New update:

SCT is unlock and was able to load the base tune:

Car started but idle was bad and had fli data error and p0463 on the iup.

Found out that the floater switch on the fuel pump was F@ckered. Had to take the POS out again and swap it with the part from the stock pump. That fixed the data error and none cel. Data logged everything and got a new tune from Brooks. Loaded that up and the thing still started ruff and still idled bad. He asked about my plugs and I was running my old HT0 plugs with 2K miles on them gaped at .032. They looked good, but went ahead and swapped them out with my stock HT1 plugs. Started the car and it starts up much better and idle's good too.

Q: why would the car run like shit off the old plugs? I'll be pushing 15psi and I cant have HT1's in there @ .045 gap?? IS there something in a tune to allow me to use them or do I have to wait till I get the full tune where they will pump up the timing and who knows what?

The next problem is my old nightmare come back from hell.. Now that the car starts good and idles good I have the same problem I had before.. When I step on the gas the rpm will go down a little and car will bog like its choking on something. After bogging and rpms get to 3+K it will rev fine. Its like the same shit I had to deal with now 3 engines and 2 cars ago??? Even though Eric is working on the tune issues I'm wondering if there is something mechanical F@ck up on my car? Can I have an intake leak? Bad COPS? vacuum leak ? I just don't know.. I data logged it and sent it to eric, but wanted to see if you guys had any things I could check on my side..

That is definitely a tune issue. Eric was able to eliminate that in my car in one or two iterations, and my local tuner did too.
