so how did you get the car to start with the odometer unplugged since it will not start once you unplug it? The only ones I have seen work are theses gauges with a standalone unit like the fast or BS3?

I have a pump gas 521 big block that is getting put into the car

i wish i had the money to do this and a shop to work in so i dont have to work outside in the fun elements that i have
but reading this makes me want to put a 4.6 in my 4.0 and do some other modifications to my car

exactly my point...for those considering doing this you have to remember that you will not be able to do it and keep the stock ECU...

being that the plugs on the ecu are the same and the ecu's are built the same, dont you think swapping pins, adding pins here and there, etc, might be a possibilty to make this work with the gauges?

Or if you could take apart the stock cluster and tuck the part of the harness with the odometer on it away somewhere in the dash it would work I imagine.

the pcm are different. they use diffent software altogether it not like the software in any of the previous year cars. from what ive read is that you can swap the dash and dash harness for the 2011 gts to make it work

i dont doubt the software is different but the language is the same, so there should be a back door method, just wondering who/when it will get figured it out.
