Aluminator going in, need some opinions

Well, dropping the car off tomorrow to start the swap. I would like to know what head gaskets you guys recommend?

You can get a frpp 3v head swap kit for under $70. Comes with gaskets and head bolts.

It better have billet gears!

Yes you will want a new pump but you will also need billet gears, above 500rwhp its no a question of if, its a question of when, the oil pump will go.

Great info guys. One question though, I have seen the aluminator with like a 8.8CR and the stock CR. Do they make one somewhere in between or would I be okay with stock CR on my car(only want to be safe around 600). I found a company on ebay that sells this engine for $3500 shipped which seems like a good deal to me?

To my knowledge those are the only 2 pistons compressions they offer. You could always get different psitons if you wanted something different.

Both those compressions will make similar power with a turbo. With the 8.8 you would just need to run probably one more lb of boost to make up for the 20rwhp you loose dropping compresison a point. 8.8 will of course be safer for a street car. Either setup would be fine on 93 octane for 600rwhp though.

E85 I would go with the stock 9.8 compression you can safely run more static compression with e85 due to its cooling properties from increased fuel volume consumed.
