Yep, spoke with Lito. He says its tune. We just need to adjust!!
Update:
So after some lengthy conversations with the Joe Gibbs/Driven fluids engineer, they recommended the DT40 which is a 5W-40.
Surprisingly, they said if I participated in a two day track day and/or a full day of road racing, that I should change my oil to the XP 9 for that track event. Then go back to the DT40.
What the!!!??
Do you guys know how much that XP 9 costs!!?? $17 a bottle!! I got it for $14.86, but still...DAMN!! Thats 8 quarts roughly $120 for a two day use or 500 miles which ever comes first.
Then don't forget you have to replace your daily oil which is $11 a bottle; $90 right there.
Do exotic car owners go through this...? I must imagine owning a Ferrari or some exotic car must be worse...
They did say DT40 will be OK for the occasional drag race, autocross, and single track day.
Man, just like brake pads and tires, there isn't one thats good for everything; you got your daily street and track pads/tires. sigh Now add oil...
