80lb vs 60lb inj. w/ GT500 pumps.

Injectors, 80lb vs 60lb

either, or, why, etc.

stock fuel rails fine?

stock filter?

Examples to support if you can, all advice appreciated.

Hard to offer advice without knowing what power level you are going to try to reach.
Stock rails should be fine regardless. Injector size is going to be dependent on your final goal. Same is going to go for lines and filter.

640rwhp with 60's, stock lines and rails, GT500 pumps, and a KB dual BAP. Fuel pump duty cycle was around 74-77%. Injectors were pretty much maxed out though.

A good friend of mine made 712rwhp on 60's and was at 78% on the injectors. Another question you have to ask on top of what is you power goal is how do you want to make it??? on pump gas or racing fuel. If pump gas I would think about 600rwhp would be about as high as a set of 60's could go safely maybe 650. but on race fuel I think you could see 800rwhp no problem. If these #s are in the ballpark of you ultimate goal then I'd go 60's because most tuners have a good grasp on them where as some guys are having trouble with tuning on 80s still.

Looking for 550ish 93, 600 race. Maybe meth, but more for safety; sorta my thinking w/ the 80's.

Building to enjoy on weekends, looking for low 11's w/ DRs on Sportlines, all swaybars, etc.. 10's in race trim; w/ TR6060.
