I am selling the engine I bought from Forward Performance. Price is the same that I paid for it. $5000 USD plus shipping. The engine is still strapped down to the same pallet it was shipped to me on. It is wrapped in plastic cling wrap, ready for shipping.

I will not arrange shipping. The motor is in perfect condition. You arrange shipping, have them pick it up from me.

Specs are :

1345 miles since built and tuned
New Aluminum block
Forged 4340 Eagle Stroker crank
Forged 4340 Eagle H-beam rods
Clevite coated main and rod bearings
Arias forged pistons
Pistons are coated from polydyn gold ceramic coating on top and teflon on the side skirts.
ARP 2000 main studs
ARP 2000 heads studs
ARP 2000 rod bolts
TSS billet geared and o-ringed GT500 oil pump
Canton windage tray
Chris Starnes from champion race heads(same guy that lethal, lamota, and a ton of other performance shops use) Fully Race ported heads
Bronze guides
Manley Race Stainless steel intakes valves
Manley Race Inconel exhaust valves
BBR stage II cams
Livernois lockouts
8.8:1 CR

Additional information as requested.
Heads were CNC AND Hand ported.
Valve springs are Comp Hi Load springs
New, factory, Aluminum block
3.75" stroke.

Original For Sale thread that I bought the engine off of:
http://www.s197forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41627

I never installed it. I have since bought an 06 that is completely built top to bottom so I will not be swapping this into my 07.

*EDIT* Shipping to my home from Florida was in the neighborhood of $400. It would be less shipped to a business. ***

I took this pic with my phone. I had taken the wrapping off, took a picture, and wrapped it back up.

omg....
edit: blueprinted and balanced? what hp rating?

HP Rating? I would imagine about as much as you could throw at it. He was running at 660hp with it when he decided to sell it and buy a new 2011 GT to play with. Leland built this motor to run NMRA/NMCA with so it's a stout piece.

The rotating assembly was balanced.

Lol^^
Does this have to go as a long block or will u split it? If so prices. Thanks

Two reasons I am not wanting to split it up:

1) I am in Brazil right now for work, and wont be home until the first week of May.

2) I am not a mechanic. I did my own S/C install, suspension etc, but I have never even taken a valve cover off an engine. I have no confidence in my ability to remove the heads and do it correctly.

Oh, and to be fair Z, I already had someone inquire via PM about just the heads. If I were to eventually breakdown and separate the heads/engine, that person would have first dibs.

Just trying to keep it clean, and everyone well informed. I don't want anyone being upset.

looks like this is a 3 valve, correct?

Correct

would it be street friendly with those heads/cam?

I bought it to be a DD/Strip car. I talked to Leland at length about the motor, and I have no doubt it would be fine for that purpose. As with anything of this nature, the Tune will be the most important part. Picking the right Tuner will be paramount. Eric Brooks was who I had enlisted to tune it when it was still going to be going into my 07. (but since I never installed it, I never had him write me a tune for it)

Makes sense. Are valve springs stock?

I am going to let you guys know that I will need a bit of patience on your part when it comes to some of the more detailed questions.

When I bought this motor it was a matter of perfect timing (bonus time) and what I knew to be a hell of a deal on a built motor from a reputable shop. I will be asking Leland all of your questions that have been asked here, and in the PM's and report back as soon as possible.

Unless any of you that PM'd me have any objections, I will posting all the answers to all the questions in this thread. That way everyone will know what I know.
