My Bullitt could destroy Coyotes at will but it was pushing 14 lbs of boost on a built motor with ported heads and big cams. That said, the new Mustangs are twice the car of the older Mustangs. If you have any doubt or hesitation whatsoever between building your current car or upgrading to a new one, I highly encourage you to go test drive a new one. I would have preferred keeping my old car simply because it was a Bullitt but for an average GT I'd upgrade in a minute.

Fewwww....... that last statement saved me there! LOL

"Googling" 4.56 gears in a mildly nodded n/a 3V, some said they're too much for for minimal power. I thought the idea of " shorter" gears is to ramp up the acceleration process regardless of rwhp. Would 4.56s mean a 4th shift on a 1/4 mile run too?

^^True..It's all for acceleration. Really nothing to do with N/A H.P. :)
I'm sure you would have to shift into fourth. No questions.

if your car is going to be seeing a lot of street, like how most cars will see 99% street miles and less than 1% track miles I would recommend against 4.56. granted 3.73 is not the optimal drag gear for a 3v I am very happy I can not only drive my car whenever, but I can hop in it right now and go for a road trip, which I have on several occasions.

I have to shift to 4th on the 1/4 with 4.10's so yea 4.56 would definitely have you in 4th even with 28" tires.
IMO that is too much gear for me personally as my car is not really an all out drag car.
I was even thinking to go down to 3.73's.

It's not that bad at all. Remember that you have a .68 od 5th gear. That turns those 4.56 into a final drive ratio of 3.11. There just aren't any highway issues imo. If you could hit the factory rpm limit of 6250 in 5th you would be travelling at 167mph.

I realize that I'm not google, just a person who has owned and lived with 4.56 gears.
