Anyone had issues with the door liners coming off? It's probably due to the high humidity in Texas. I plan to gorilla glue it back on, but I doubt it'll stay on, since the backing is foam.

Any suggestions? Does anyone sell a real leather replacement? I saw those tube things that guys are putting in the crack (sounds dirty), but those wouldn't keep the inside from bulging out.

I've tried using the spray on adhesive on mine and it seemed to only last a couple of months. I got to the point now where I'm just going to buy some basic panels without the inserts. Those things are such a PITA. I live in Texas as well, the humidity doesn't play nice.

Hey Ray, there is a DIY thread on here of how to "fix" it. It works for a while but comes back off. Check out towards the end of that thread and you will see how I did mine. About to do it again though. My brother in law works with that shit and said he would fix them and make it look stock.

Shit...tree'd

You need high temp, high humidity 3M spray adhesive. They make several kinds.

You need the #90 stuff I think.

dont forget the thin foam backing as well. If you dont, it will look like shit and you will see glue lines in the fabric (ask me how I know). Problem is that over the course of about 5 years or so, the glue breaks down and the foam backer deteriorates. Thats why it falls down and you have to scratch off the green backing before re-applying it. Atleast whats left of the backing.
