f/i price quote question

i am working on getting F/I and they sent me a quote and i was wondering what they ment by a few things they sent me in a no none since way. here are a few different quotes they sent me

[FONT=&quot]Forged crank,rods,pistons and new block assembled 2600

Reusing your block and same assy 2200

Engine gasket kit with bolts 350

R&R engine with assemble long block clean parts 1700

i was wondering what yall thought of the different quotes that they sent me and what you think of the prices of the different quotes

The "R&R" illudes me at the moment...

The rest of it, well that depends. What brand crank, rods and pistons, gaskets and bolts?

i have since gotten a time estimate and they are saying 3 weeks so im thinking i may be doing it my self

thats bullshit for damn sure hell just the arp head bolts are over 350 let alone a complete gasket set ....
and if a " new " block is only 400 they are talking steel not aluminum , new aluminum blocks like we have are 1200 through ford racing

and as kyle said it all depends on what companies they are using ...

i just know that it feels like a rip off to me for it to take that long i can rent a garage and do it my self in like a few days for the same price

That right there is just a plain old ripoff right there... The most a machine shop should charge to do a block is 3-4. The rest doesnt add up.
