RIP - You will be missed
Not exactly.

That moron is in marketing and his job is to move units. If a 32-cent anniversary plaque on the dash gets a splash of publicity, some showroom traffic, and a few extra cars sold, you bet your ass he's gonna do it.

And whoever that moron is, he is laughing about people arguing model year semantics over something he did just to get a bonus.
Still doesn't make him right. If what you posted is true, he's just greedy enough to not be bothered by hoodwinking some of his potential customers and underhanded enough to be patting himself on the back for getting away with it.

You may have noticed the "20AE" tag next to the Maxima listed in my sig. That's right, it's also an "Anniversary Edition". There were a few minor differences between it and the "regular" SE, but it didn't make any difference when I bought the car that it was Anniversary-whatever (20th) or that Nissan got the anniversary number right. It still doesn't matter.

Nice. I love it when a smartass comes along and makes himself look like an idiot.

Guess what makes a car an anniversary edition.

Math? Eh... I mean mathematics? Nope.

Calendar year versus model year aka "MY"? No sir.

....

......................

........................................................

It's when the fucking manufacturer puts a fucking anniversary badge, decal, or window sticker on the car to sell it, dipshit.

Case closed.

Tbird ! That dipshit doesn't even know how to read in addition to knowing what a typo error is, let alone know the difference between calendar year and model year..

Three? How unimpressive. I've had eleven Fox cars (two T-Birds and nine Mustangs), but one is good enough, except in your case. I can compile a reading list for you if you really want to learn. Let me know.

This idiot claims to have owned eleven Fox cars, nine Mustangs and two T-birds right ?

This alone proves he's full of shit and obviously doesn't know squat about Mustangs, otherwise he would've acknowledged the fact that he owned a total of 20 Mustangs, which also doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out is also a crock of bullshit.. Then on top of that, he doesn't even count the eleven Fox cars in which he supposedly owned are also fucking Mustangs as well lol.

And lets just say for the sake of argument that even if by chance he did own a total of 20 Mustangs.. Chances are if he went through that many cars ?

They were either pieces of junk from the start or beaten to death and not properly maintained nor taken care of..

At any rate, I'd sure feel sorry for anybody who would end up becoming the next owner of anything that was ever owned by such an idiot to begin with..

^^LOL. Guess I touched a nerve.
^^^^^
WOW!!! Another fine example of just how low your IQ really is.. Congrats :goofy_batman:

Surprise! Even though 2012+2=2014, this sequence of years contains three model years, hence the reason that from MY 1965 to MY 2014 there are fifty model years.

Surprise ! Ford has it right, you don't..

Yeah Chevy's anniversary claims on the Camaro are like marrying a woman for 25 years, divorcing her, then 20 years later marrying her again and after 5 years claiming its your 50 wedding anniversary.

Only problem with this is that the Mustang was not the only vehicle to use the FOX platform. Just saying.

I'm pretty convinced, based off of the mustang sales and when the other muscle cars came back, that if it hadn't been for the 05 mustang being so popular, camaros, challengers, even chargers probably wouldnt have came back. Just my .02. Looks like a sensitive thread here, gonna go back to my safe space now. Probably put on my helmet and oven mitts for good measure.

And I wouldn't put something like that past Chevy either lol.

I understand where your coming from, however his post didn't specify otherwise either.. If he owned 11 vehicles on the Fox platform other than the Mustang, then which models in question are they ?

1978–1983 Ford Fairmont
1978–1983 Mercury Zephyr
1979–1993 Ford Mustang
1979–1986 Mercury Capri
1980–1988 Ford Thunderbird
1980–1988 Mercury Cougar
1980–1981 Ford Durango
1981–1982 Ford Granada
1982–1987 Lincoln Continental
1983–1986 Ford LTD
1983–1986 Mercury Marquis
1984–1992 Lincoln Mark VII

There is no going back now. Might as well come play with us.

And you obviously don't know how to read, dumb ass.. As for not knowing Fox Mustangs.. I owned 3 of them, in which my last was a 93 SVT Cobra..

In the meantime, I suggest taking a re-fresher course in reading comprehension.. Providing you have enough intelligence to even understand that!!!

Therefore for the last time, I said 20th anniversary 84 GT350.. NOT GT.. Got It ???

GT350 and GT 350 are both interpreted as one in the same.. My only mistake was placing a space between the letters GT and 350.. Ever heard of a typo error before ? In your case, probably not !
He is talking about leaving GT350s and other special edition vehicles out of the discussion since this is about V6/GT cars.

To muddy the water even more, if the first MY GT350 came out in '65, the '84 MY GT350 wouldn't have reached the 20 year mark yet.

And just how would you know that ? Perhaps you should read over each post in your thread once again, as it was your buddy who turned your thread into a thread war with his false accusations to begin with.. As the 84 GT350 was NOT left out as he claimed !

Exactly 100% spot on.. It should had been the 85 MY that was designated as the 20th anniversary GT350.. But once again, this is just another fine example of how Ford has contradicted themselves time and time again !
