I don't think you are at 400/400 with your mods...esp with a low compression motor..why not put it on the dyno to see?

Stroked Big Bore 324"
Stg 3 heads w/ oversized valves, Nextek springs, ti ret
Comp 127300 cams
IMRC deletes
stick car

9.5 CR is not low and he's got 15% more CID then a stock 4.6L.

9.5 is not low??? Really...that is what I see people that are going FI and wanting a "built motor" using.

I understand he is a 5.4 and maybe 9.5 on a 5.4 is not low but on a 4.6 I associate 9.5 is low.

Then look for it somewhere else. He doesn't want to drive eight hours each way just to show YOU a set of numbers. Nothing wrong with that. If you want the numbers so goddamned bad then go buy the intake and do the tests yourself. Get off his ass.

Damn dyno queens.

I think he like the rest of us would like to see the before/after numbers of how well the new intake works and a dyno is better than the SOTP...he is one of the first to install it and post his results which is why there is so much interest in the numbers.

i think the reason stckjock said 9.5 is not low CR is because 9.8 is a stock CR...so technically, its not. its just slightly lower than stock...but not enough to significantly hinder power production.

/\ exactly... it's not 8.5 (which IMHO is low).

He doesn't have a 5.4 engine. He has a stroked big bore 4.6 engine.

I could give two shits about it. I already know what it flows versus the C&L. I happen to own a flow bench and have already tested both intakes. And I won't give up my C&L thank you.

Like I said...if you dyno queens want to know so bad then ante in and buy the damn thing yourself. Don't sit back and wait while everyone else spends their hard-earned money on the intake and dyno tuning just so you can sit on your ass and read about it.

What the hell ever happened to real hot rodding anyway?

Wether you flow bench, dyno test or see if you gain at the track with it, those are all better methods than saying it feels better and i think i made xx hp with it.
