You can buy a brand new Z06 for $62K. I know this is a Mustang forum and all. I am a Mustang fan and I would take a Z06 of a GT350 or GT500 for that price.

But I'm willing to bet that those guys also have a forged bottom end and a ton of other good stuff.

I agree for that kind of price I'd be driving a new Z06 looking at them in my rear view mirror. I also am not crazy about the body kit at all. I liked the previous GT350's from them alot more. They should of done a version of like the Roush 427 sleeper now I like that.

No shit. And it doesn't take very much actually to bump them up to 600HP with the only serious engine work being a new cam. Those things are beasts. The price on a Z06 (while more than I'd ever pay for a car personally) makes a hell of a lot more sense because of what it can do than the GT350 price. I don't want to hate on the GT350 b/c I DO like it a lot. But it kind of missed the mark IMO.

That works for me. 11 sec street car from the factory with 1G handling and 3200 curb weight. You cant beat that. Add a procharger and a couple light weight mods and it will have about 750 rwhp and a 2800-2900 curb weight. Ill take it.
