We took the car to the track today, it's still stock with the same driver (BJ) and some bigs and littles, best pass was 11.416 @ 121.42.

I'm hoping we can get an 11.20 out of Jason's car in stock form before this year is over, I honestly believe that the car has it in it. We will see soon hopefully

BG NMRA is usually the fastest times for every racer in nmra. That time of year the weather here is awesome for racing. That why most all of them come here for the finals.

Sounds like someone needs some sense slapped into them. That's some messed up logic ...

Not everything from the mod list is here yet but I should have quite a few boxes arrive today from FedEx. I did go ahead and install the OD pulley.

Got to this point and realized I forgot the pulley puller Gerrrr....

Worst part of this install is having to grind the crank sensor retaining bracket. I admit its a little nerve racking taking a grinder to the aluminum front cover of your car.

For the 15% you have to remove about 1/2 the sensor mount. I just took my time. IW also recommended smoothing down the TDC arrow on the front cover as well. In the pic you can see how much of the bracket is removed.

Everything nice and clean before installing the OD pulley.

Takes a little persuasion with a hammer and a wooden block to get it started and IW gives you a longer bolt for the install, and its finally in there. You can also see in this pic the Tump RRR tensioner.

I went ahead and ordered the longer gates belt that is suggested. I didn't have to because the tensioner has a 60mm pulley from Thumper; this is down from the factory 90mm. But my major reason for this is I hope to run a 93* tune with the 3.25" whipple pulley at 18psi. I also have a 3" pulley that should produce close to 22-24 psi. Knowing I wanted to use a the 3" and even smaller possibly, I wanted as much belt wrap as I could get. I had an old metco idler laying around from when I had my stock SC.

Now if everything else will hurry up and get here, I'll have a fun day! LOL.

Nice work Synister, and I agree it sucks having to grind the front cover on a new car. I did mine several years ago now. I can't wait to see the finished product for you
