Ok, ok, ok. Back on topic now....lol

Finished up my breather tank setup for the PCV system, no more oil in the intake for me! Mounted it the CAI heat shield and put a valve on the drain and ran a tube down and underneath the car for easy draining.

Grabber and I were just talking about this setup the other day. I'm not an expert on PCV systems, but I have some questions about how this works.

How does this differ from a straight-up breather setup?

What creates the vacuum to get the oil vapor to travel through those long hoses to the vented catch can?

What effects does this have on the head temps and engine longevity?
