For those that don't visit the South Central section.

Let me start by saying fuck RPR! ( Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown TX)

I will never be back to that track.

I was told Fri. Night that if the event was rained out today that they would run it on Sun. Knowing his I secured my hotel room for two nights with my non refundable rewards points. Then this morning soon after stretch and his crew left they ran into some rain and text me about the weather. I told them it was dry at that point but I was going to call the track and make sure that they where still going run Sunday if it rained out today. Once again they said yes. Now fast forward to 2:00 this afternoon after we all have hotels and have paid to enter and have yet to make a pass due to T&T, an oil down and then the rain. Then they come on the speakers and tell us that the event is being called due to rain "And they are through for the weekend"!!! several of people asked for refunds and we were told we could come back on any other event and receive a free tech card. Alot of good that does those who drove 3.5 hrs to get there like my self and have already paid for our hotel rooms and such as it was well after checkout time now. I understand they cant control the rain but they need to stand by what they say so we dont waste extra money for the additional night for nothing.

I read through your tech thread, and hard to believe it's acting up already on you, sorry man! I guess at this power level, it could happen at any time??, which still sucks though!

I don't fault Lentech here, not yet. Len was very clear about the O/D being a weak link here. I just thought I would be in the clear after I had let out of the gas. After the trans is opened up I will know what is really the issue.

You have the right attitude. Stuff breaks when you get to this power level. The Lentech trans is a good proven unit...sometimes it's just the luck of the draw and sometimes it's our own doing that causes problems.

A friend of mine has been running the Lentech piece for years without a problem and he makes more power than both both of us (he is #12 on the all time 3V power adder list).

You know the old saying......RACE IT...BREAK IT....FIX IT..........REPEAT

Can't say I disagree with a thing you said. It's true you do have to be prepared for things to break it this level or just leave it in the garage.

Tr6060- few notchy gears, something weird going on with the clutch or TOB at low speeds.

If its in first gear, WITH the clutch pushed, coming to a stop,at about 3-4mph I can feel a pop, then it acts weird in first gear and hard to go into second....if I make a complete stop in neutral then put it in first gear it drives perfect....so for now I have just learned to drive it that way...not pulling it until it gets hotter outside when I drive it less.
