Would be a bummer not seeing updates over here anymore, if not, hope it turns out as good as it looked like it would.

Well I went to the track yesterday and I am still having fuel pressure issues. I made a pass and had to lift as he FP is falling off above 5700 rpms down to 40 psi and I have 20 psi of boost. I ran a 5.93@118 lifting. The next pass I got out even faster and decided to pull the fuel hat and check the pumps. I run 2 465s full time and a 255 that comes on at 15 psi for extra safety. I wired the 255 on full time and pulled the hat. The 255 would suck on my finger and you could hear the air pumping out of it, the 2 465s wouldn't even pull a slight vacuum on my finger and they were not pumping any air. They felt like they are hardly pumping.

I ordered two new 465s last night to test this weekend. I am going to wire one of them to run full time and the second one and the 255 to come in at 10 psi. I am afraid I may have burnt them up running them both full time and heating the fuel. I am also going to check the regulator to see if there is fuel in the vacuum line or not. That would mean a bad regulator.

I will post a screen shot of my log in a few so you can see what I am seeing.

I will update more after the track next weekend.

Having just 1 pump on sounds like the better way. When I talked to DB Performance, I believe that was how they were going to set me up.

Most of those pumps are designed to be run like you run them, it would surprise me if you burnt them out like that.

IDK, my 255 is pushing strong and the 465s wont even suck my thumb. I just got an email that my new ones will be at the house on Wednesday and I will check it out when I get back in town on Friday.

That's a good find, and a good alt. plan. We run two power supplies to the race cars fuel pump. (dual batts)

I have all three pumps running from the same 12v source and relay and the 255 has its own ground that is ran through a Hobbs switch. That way if the relay or fuse blows I will shut off instead of running lean. Its really amazing that it doesn't run lean when it hits 42 psi. Manuel said that that is because I have such large injectors, I run ID1300s.

We use one relays from each batt. We don't run an alternator. I agree that is amazing and good.

Looks like the issue is not the pumps. I went to the track yesterday and installed two new pumps and a new fuel filter and same issue. Manuel had mentioned that Dysan (thanks by the way James) had asked about my fuel cell and if it have a vent on the tank. It does not, and looks like that may be the issue. I have installed a vent hose and filter and have a roll over valve on the way. The cell is the only thing I changed about my fuel system this year and this has to be the issue. I did a ton of searching and found several people that had the same issue with out the vent.

I guess next Saturday at the Texas Shootout will be the test!

Here is what I did today.

I guess since the 465s are a different style of pump, the perform differently then the 255 while out of the tank.
