Never enough power guy!
You got this Billy!!! Keep pluggin away!!!
I know, Im just very upset with myself for the call on the copper head gaskets. I seem to very good at bypassing the KISS method.

Good grief man! I just caught up from the past couple days' updates. At least you have a good machine shop that can turn it out quickly for you, mine would be at least a month long wait. Then sorting your brakes out too..geez, well as stated above your car will be EPIC after you work through all this BS.
Head was lifting looks like as well.
Is there a reason you don't use ARP ultra torque?

Good thing is, I ran a 5.78 with that pc of shit in my motor!![]()
It sucks for sure but, when building a 12:1 motor on almost 22 psi, I expect to see the limits of certain things, I just didn't thing this was going to be one of them. This is supposed to be the ultimate setup for cylinder pressure, yea right! I will go on to find the limits of the stock gaskets now I guess. There are plenty of guys running 30+ psi on them with 9.0c/r so, we shall see.Hell ya! Just wait 'till you fix it! Can't believe that happened..
I have had them to 25 psi. I was trying to get " the ultimate seal" but seems that is the good old stock gaskets as far as I can tell.Billy, I went all the way to 28 PSI with the stock gasket, no issues what so ever
wish you all the best and good luck
Good luck, it is very frustrating, I was actually sick to my stomach pulling the motor this time! Like to the point of being sick. I am so disgusted with these copper gaskets.I am glad you are still determined. I am tracking down minor issues compared to yours and I am frustrated as hell so I can only imagine how you feel brother.
