I got the motor install finished up today and started it but have a bad fuel line. We saw a fuel pressure issue the last time at the track when I blew the head gasket. I think I found it! I was going to start looking at the pumps this week.

Anyhow here is the shit pic of my engine bay.

This pic doesn't tell the whole story but looks good as it's back in the car.

Well what happened is, above 5700 or so my car was dropping to 40 psi of fuel pressure. With the big injectors and fuel system I have, the car never went lean. I noticed the white residue on the braided line when the motor went in last time and have been able to smell fuel for the longest time. Today when I started the car it ran fine but there was terrible e85 fuel smell. I started looking and the return line on the right side was spraying fuel from the center of the line. I then removed it and pressure tested it with air and sure enough it was leaking in the middle. I even pulled the ends to make sure it was not getting in from the fittings.

Anyhow, here are some better pics of the new Moroso valve covers and such.

Fuel line is fixed, heat cycle done and full of water, then ran to operating temp and killed. Tomorrow I will take the first drive to seat the rings.

Good find, that could have been bad. I did notice you have two aluminum blocks on either side of the radiator support with cables attached, some sort of additional hood locks.
