You can tune your car to produce full boost at the line. I can see 15 psi at about 4500 or so. "lag" is a term blower skerdy cats use to pull you from the side that will spank that ass lol.

A few things here... A PD blower doesn't build boost in a linear fashion. It builds boost instantly. A Centri build's boost as your RPM goes up. The more RPM, the more boost. That is linear. About Hellion being the best? Firstly, scavenger pump. One more thing to go wrong, one more thing to add expense to an already expensive kit. Secondly, turbo placement. WTF were they thinking? There is two almost 90* curved pipes coming into and out of that turbo. How is that a good design by any measure?

OP - If you want a fun street car, go Twin Screw. If you want the fastest car possible, go turbo. If you want an in between, go centri. Simple as that in my opinion. Oh... And don't use Hellion... Also my opinion.

And both of them told me the car made "900 something" quote word for word. That night at Cecil Drag way they ran 9.03 at 145 (not 100% on the trap speed.) track was slick and their 60fts sucked.

To the op. If you are building the motor you might as well do heads and cams too. while your in there do it all at one time.

Im sure who ever you decide to go with for tuning can write you a break in tune that will be more than safe.
I am a big fan of turbos (i daily a turbo 01' Focus 400whp) but i don't like how crammed they are in the s197. When it comes time to boost my 11' I will more than likely go Whipple. And the sound of a Loud crisp V8 with a nice little blower whine is 'Boss'.

I don't think I want a twin screw, my cousins gt500 made 600ish rwhp with a ported blower and pullies
And he could not hook at all with good drag radials on the street from even a low roll

I want to be fast as fuck on the street lol and procharger seems like a nice kit I just don't know about centris
I know I loved my turbo but idk about the kits offered and the prices are way more than a centri

I didn't say a twin screw's boost was linear; I said the power curve is more linear. Because boost is essentially constant, the power curve is very similar in shape to that of a naturally-aspirated motor (and thus more linear). A centri blower only has max boost at high RPM, making the power curve more "peaky" than a naturally aspirated motor.

bro, we have has 0 issues with the hellion system and the one on our 2011 KOTS car just made the highest horsepower on a coyote motor in the country. It was up against KB, Whipples, vortechs and prochargers.

This is all i'm trying to say. Not comparing it are starting issues. Their systems work. With the type of piping (bassani), and bends, thus allowing a great flow.
