Damn what a great friend to lend you a dd!

Yeah he's done it twice for me already! Let me borrow his 2010 GT:thumb2: for a few days when we were installing brakes on my car and let me borrow the tundra when we had the fuel hat issue.

Well just ordered the vmp 3" maf housing with mount. So price list post # 2 updated.

Okay had to mess aorund with the new part lol. Got the from intercooler to tb stuff done now. Im going to have to trim 2-3 inches of the blue straight coupler for the right length to make the bottom bend which should leave around 16-18 inches of straight pipe before the maf for a good signal. As always some pics..

The mafia worked perfect as a wire extender and reached the mafs new location so no splicing!

Pulled the h-pipe

Started messing with the turbo and up-pipe. Ran into a snag here, kit came with 2 studs and 2 bolts to mount the turbo. The bolts were slightly too big to fit through the precision 67mm's flange so i had to drill them out a little, no big deal. Put down a bead of copper sealant before i tightened it up.

I messed around with clocking the turbo for awhile finally go the oil feed to point straight up and outlet to point the way i wanted. Put on the top turbo support bracket.

I slid the turbo and upipe in to see where it would sit, then pulle dit back out becasue its gonna be in the way for tapping the oil pan for the return and doing the feed line.

Went ahead and started installing the two pipes off the headers. Used some copper sealant on the slip joints here as well. Got them on barely snug for now, vband from passenger side pipe to driver side pipe lined up okay, not the best.

Called it a night here as it was 8 oclock. Tommorow im gonna lossen up the header bolts on each side a little so the vband joint will line up a little better. Get the first vband on and just barely snug it too, then tighten the header bolts back down alittle bit and see how it lines up. Then comes tapping the oil pan, Then go from there!

Got a good 5 hours worth of work in today, also spent alittle time thinking up how im going to run the piping from turbo to intercooler, where the bov will be etc. but i will wait to finish that once all the hotside stuff is on.

Yeah i really think the bigger radiator with the 16" fan has helped alot and my temps stay normal so far up to 92 degrees. And the fan is wired so that when it comes on it comes on high (12v).
