That actually looks pretty good. I would have liked to see more "dish" on the back wheels but they're still nice. Kinda resembles my razors.

More dish on the 10.5" rears would be nice.
But I think I can live with them as they are.

Well when I finally get to see one in person that is.

Those wheels are straight sexy btw. I had decided on all black with no lip but those wheels have me second guessing myself.

The Majority of people I have read about like them.
I think they probably work as well as any other UHP tire for the street

Yes on the M/T SC-5 Wheels.
The one I had installed on my Bullitt looked Killer !!!
I have the complete set on order now at Discount Tire.

I think the M/T UHP Street Comp tires are just like the majority of the rest of the street tires.
None of them really are anything at all like Drag Radials.
They all are mainly for driving in rain and to get normal mileage with pretty good traction.
Any Mustang that has any Power at all from a Stop is going to go up in Smoke.

is it warm where you are? these are after all a summer tire, not fair to rate them in the winter months.........

I've had snow tires on for months now. I used them in the summer when I first got them and even took them to the track. Like I said, maybe I was expecting too much, this is my first stick car. I am putting them back on in a few weeks or so, I will re-evaluate.

I don't think they are meant to be for Drag-Racing.

They do good for traction but not wide-open starts on a Drag Strip.

If you have not driven a stick car before here is a hint for you.
You drive away from the lights and as you gain traction you go wide-open-throttle.

I tried multiple approaches on street and on track. The have not been as impressive as my 555s were, but I had them on a non-stalled auto Mustang, so that may have been all the difference.

Yes an Automatic is more forgiving than a stick car.

I picked up a couple of these MT Street Comp tires this week, my rear tires were about shot and traction was much worse than when they were new. So far the new Mickeys are doing quite nicely. Traction is better, ride is smooth and quiet and they seem to go around corners well on the street. I stepped up one more size and went with a 275/45-18 on the stock 8.5" rims and they look really good, even though the manufacturer recommends a 9" minimum width wheel.

I was considering going with a drag radial but decided on these at the last minute. I'll post up my further impressions in another six months or so.

I'm in the market for new tires myself. Can't decide which ones to go with, I currently have the Cooper Zeon RS3-S very similar to the MT Street Comp. Just for shit and giggles I got a quote for Michelin Pilot Super Sports 275/35R20, wow $1700 with road hazard, UNREAL!

So very tempted to sell these wheels and go back to 18" F14's...
