Hello All,

I have already done a search to see if anything has been asked about these particular wheels or not and I seen nothing. The other night, I hydroplaned and screwed up my right rear rim. After calling my dealership, I found they wanted $541 for a replacement. Needless to say, I started looking at aftermarket rims. I am looking at a style from discount tire called "Old School" from MB Wheels. I think the wheels look great but havent seen any pics or posts about them. Being a newb, I have no idea as to what offset will fit my car without it looking like a 4x4 with the wheels hanging out the fenders. I have posted a link to the site, so if anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated..

They wanted $541 for a direct OEM replacement???...you can grab a set of those 18" Chrome Bullitts, wheels and tires used around the forums for that price....A set of 4 sells for around $500-$600.

The wider the wheel the greater the positive offset you require.

IE:

10 inch rim +40 to +48 'ish

8 inch rim +30 to +35 'ish

Generic rule on above, some wheels are only +35 to +38 and depending on tire width you can vary the rule somewhat.

Check out the tire packages they list in the link I provided and it will tell you what tire fits rim best.

To a point anyways.

Best thing is to PM people that have combinations you like for advice.

Jeff
